You need to be absolutely sure you need this machine because if you return this you won't get your old machine or money back according to their T & C.

Terms and conditions
The offer is only available if the customer agrees to dispose of an appliance he or she already owns by entering the promotional code, and allowing John Lewis or its delivery agents to collect and dispose of their old appliance on delivery of the new one.
If the customer wishes to return the product, only the discounted price paid will be refunded and the old appliance will not be returned. Also available in John Lewis shops.

Terms don't mention anything about condition, so your old machine does not have to be working.

I did the same with a coffee machine when they had a £75 off code when you trade in any coffee machine, did the order online and it arrived without them mentioning or asking about the trade in machine

X)

Thanks so much - old machine broken and part to cost £70 plus fitting so for £119 with free delivery it's an excellent deal

Purchased thanks. And free uplift of my faulty Bosch

According to Wikipedia, Beko home appliances are made by a Turkish company called Arçelik which, in turn, is part of Koç Holding. Is it just me that finds this funny!?

ordered thanks

I don't know what's funny about that. They also have a sister company called fanney stroke. I suppose u think that's funny too.

ordered

Cheers Chanchi, just ordered one aswell.

Had my Bosch for 19 years now - never gone wrong - used 3 times a week, don't suppose this will last as long but can't resist a bargain so ordered . Will fetch the Bosch out again when this breaks down just after the guarantee runs out

I know Hotpoint are bad... Are beko bad or meh?

Cheaper than in the 3 world. Bosch is made by a turkish too

Which? verdict: reasonable choice for the price 59% score

Pro: Great at washing synthetics, highly effective at spinning
Cons: Only satisfactory for washing cottons and rinsing

Have had a Beko washing machine for number of years and no issues. From the posts that I have seen on here people generally seem to rate Beko as a budget option.

This deal is perfect...my Indesit is ready to kick the bucket.
Cheers op

You do get your money back (the discounted price paid); you just don't get the machine they disposed of for you.
I'd say fair enough!

My Beko 7kg washer is more than 7 years old and still going well, although most likely not as energy efficient as this model, tempted by this deal as i do not think they will ask for old machine, i did a tradein deal on a NEFF oven with john lewis and they never asked for the old oven.Just plead ignorance if they ask for it and tell them they have to disconnect it themselves, probably tell you to keep old one

good find tempted

Ordered, thanks OP.

Great deal. Majority of folk would be getting rid of a broken or less efficient machine so cannot grumble at this price.

There have been a number of fatal house fires caused by Beko fridges/freezers, so I'd rate them as a possibly dangerous option! (Don't know what brand of appliance started the awful Grenfell fire - we'll find out in due course I suppose).

Chanchi your deals are always superb, but this.......is the most amazing deal ever to be published on HUKD!! A washing machine for less than £120!!!!! chanchi, youre amazing
