you can buy a Bosch for that money rather than this turkish junk, why would you want to buy from a company that tries to hide the fact they know their appliances are catching fire?

Good price but I personally dont trust Beko.

Why do people have to be so rude. Great price

Lol Bosch used to be a good company, I purchased a Bosh Dishwasher and and Washing machine.
After 6 months the dishwasher developed a fault, 3 parts where replaced and it lasted another 2 months, same parts went again, and again, and again, bosh came out to it 7 times in 2 years for the same fault, in the end i did a modification to the part that kept failing, it was the inlet for the pump that causes the issue, since i moded it, the machine was fine.
The washing machine that was returned and refunded the bearings and drum lasted 6 months my Beko 9kg washer has now been going 2 years not an issue a brilliant machine.
Personally since Bosh moved production to Spain there products have been poor

I bought the 1500 spin beko back in the summer, the same machine apart from the spin speed. Its a great machine. Had two zanussi machines fail within 2 years of light use, so stuff paying for premium brands now. Quite a few people recommended beko to me and im now glad they did. At £179 this machine is great value.

Bought yesterday, assumed it had already been posted on here!!

This beko washing machine, or the following indesit one on offer from b&q?.....

What are people's opinions on which is a better machine?....

do Curries offer free installation? or is this easy? I don't have a waging machine (use local laundry in communal building cause it's cheap at £1 per wash) but maybe worth getting this deal? if just have no idea what I'm doing if I had to install it

lol you need to do your homework before a comment like that, Bosch where on watchdog this year for there appliances catching fire oO some people are stuck in the 80s Bosch items are no where near the quality of 20-30 years ago, like most things nowadays in this throw away world its all about the money and not the quality.

Bosch is the worst machine I've ever had, beko fridge freezer is best I've ever had, fab deal thanks

Beko do very well in surveys (eg Which?); Indesit do not. Your experience may differ but I would go Beko without any hesitation.

Some Bosch's are made in Turkey possibly by Arcelik (Beko). Turkey is also a major supplier of components for washing machines.

Also Bosch dishwashers dwarf the Beko issue with upto 1/2million dangerous units in people's homes that's something like 1 in 40 homes may have a deadly Bosch dishwasher. So that's half the estimated 1 million dangerous appliances in people's homes actually from Bosch. The fact you didn't even know Bosch had this major issue surely means if anything Beko has been better at providing recall information.

Anyone seen a good deal on a washer dryer ? Ta.

Beko are brilliant machines had one for the last 7 years never missed a beat and it does at least 4 loads a week, can't fault it!

Well I just ordered the bosh from JL for £300, I'm thinking of cancelling as bosh seem to be getting a bashing.

The one thing I've learnt is to take reviews with a pinch of salt, keep on mind, with every one bad review you'll hear, they'll be hundreds of satisfied customers.

2 months ago I'd never had even considered buying a beko Washing machine, today I've just come back from Currys after ordering this Washing machine.

Bosch are where people really need to be looking and there are much better offers on them at this time of year 1400 spin starting at £300 much better machines and much higher rated as a rule always winning the which awards when have Beko won a Which award? Pay a little bit more for a lot more quality

It's not a little though is it?...

It's almost twice as much!...

And no award can be given from WHICH!, WHO!, WHAT! or WHEN! on how reliable an appliance is/will be.

Well yes it can....

Thats the point Bosch are tested more rigorously and manufactured to a higher quality hence their ability to offer a FREE 2 year manufacturers guarantee. All of this is taken into account in the WHICH awards.

If you are looking at saving money getting a good bargain on a Bosch but spending a bit more is a better proposition than getting the reduced to cost price entry level machine that the nationals have on promotion that week.

In my opinion the Whirlpool from Argos at £229 seems the best buy at the moment wwdc84202. 8kg and 1400rpm.

Has anyone had theirs delivered yet? First impressions?

Am thinking about replacing my broken washer dryer with separates, the hotpoint we have has been a pole of junk over the last few years, have lost count of the number of times it's been repaired (have the service plan as it was so unreliable), the repair people are coming out again on the 2nd, hopefully will fix and can then off load it on ebay X) thinking at this price I could buy a new one every couple of years and still be paying the same as I do now for getting the hotpoint fixed. Could also use my barclaycard (old egg card) to cover a second year guarantee :-)

Have bought this an in my opinion is a great washing machine and very easy to use, even if my girlfriends son, said this is Mummy's

We ordered this yesterday, after hunting round for to replace our old 1000rpm Zanussi!
We have a beko fridge/freezer which we have had for a few years now and had no issues with it at all.

We saw the model above this in Currys before xmas, was the 1500rpm model, and looks decent build, and that was £229 or £249

The quick wash on this i believe is 28 mins as well, which is good.

Free Delivery (ours coming on 2nd Jan) and dispose of your old machine included, cant grumble.

heat added from me.

Hehe, you said "Arcelik".

Seems like a good deal to me... heat added.

Nipped into Currys to view and it looks well made and great value.
I was debating whether to go for this Beko or a more expensive Bosch from J Lewis.
After reading extensive reviews I plumped the Beko.
Main reason's:- £120 less expensive and quieter operation (important to me), also the reliability would appear to be better on this model than today's Bosch machines.
I hope it all works out to the good.

I just picked this up today, good machine. It managed to fit into a small hatchback car and it's easy to lift with 2 people. Very quiet when it runs and it looks like a nice machine. Similar beko 7kg's were around £300 in store.

My old Hoover machine decided to spit out oil after 3 years of use from the gearbox/gears by the looks of it. Would cut out half way through spin and would not drain. The pcb also broke in half.

I hope this will survive atleast 5 years with little issues.

Offfer doesn't show as expired, but the price on the "get offer" link is £299.
Looks a good deal at £179. Can anyone point me to how to get for £179 pls?
