Seems to be a good price for 7kg 1400 rpm washing machine with very good reviews.

Good price but really you should change the title to 169 AFTER 30 cashback, for clarity.

plus use topcashback as well

Hot. Got this machine last week. I like the fast cycles

We had a Beko....went wrong after 13 months.....paid for a repair only to go wrong again (different fault) after 15 months (this time the computerised programmer) not a cost effective repair so scrapped ...... had an Indesit ever since & not missed a beat for 4 years

price changed to 219

Same model on ao.com with 8kg Drum is on sale to £219, just got one its a very good machine and even better value

Any ideas if the ao aftercare 4.99/month worth it? Got a call from them today about it.

Generally im not a fan of any aftercare/insurance. Thats £60 a year so after 3 years you've could nearly buy a new one

I agree with Sandy, not worth it. Under the Sale of Goods Act you can reasonably expect a washing machine to work for four years at least. So if it breaks down any sooner (under five years in Scotland), you have consumer rights. You do have to pay yourself for an independent repair person to check the machine and do you a report to confirm that a part is faulty or whatever and it's not your fault that the machine has broken. Then the manufacturer of your machine are obliged to pay you the cost of the engineer/report and also to either repair your machine or replace it with a new one. I've done this a few times in the past and a friend got two brand new full height fridge and freezer yrs ago when her four year old appliances broke down.

Due to our consumer rights I would never buy an extended warranty. The only downside is if you don't have the money to pay for the independent repair person in the first place (usually around £100 for washing machine or dishwasher).
