The sudden demise of this post just doesn't wash with me
Why is this expired?
Voted hot, because at the budget end of the spectrum, you're getting a well specified washing machine with some user friendly controls. Certainly if your budget is tight, this model warrants serious consideration, especially when compared to the likes of Hotpoint, Indesit, Hoover, Candy, Creda etc.

A few things to be mindful of.

1. Unlike most other Beko products, this comes with a 1 year warranty only and not the usual 2 years.

2. The wash and spin noise levels aren't the quietest.

3. The depth is 600mm which compared to around 560mm for rival 9KG washing machines means it may not sit flush under your worktop.

4. As is typical in the price range, don't expect top notch build quality. A few reviews have made reference to this.

5. Not sure statistically whether this model will last 5 years of daily use without breaking down and without purchasing an extended warranty. If so, a great buy. If not, as this would add another £115 or so to the cost, you then need to decide whether a more premium washer with a 5 year warranty included may be a better value proposition.

BEKO is the best of the budget brands. Rated up there with mid-market brands like Bosch by Which?, etc.

Not sure whether the Beko range uses the same internals across the range, or whether the more expensive Beko washers are better built and hence more reliable than the cheaper ones. UK White Goods website seems to indicate the cheaper Beko washers are built to last just 1000-1500 wash cycles.
No matter what, at month 10 it will fail or begin to fail, I've had washing machine torture and American fridge failure, service engineers out frequently. Poor build
I've had my budget beko 8kg machine for 8 years now with 5 wash cycles a week... Touch wood, it hasn't even skipped a beat yet.
Steve would never have anything to do with this crap.

Lucky it's still under warranty then! Actually, I think it's personal - they're picking on you!

Purchased this one a few weeks ago - it's fantastic compared to the Hotpoint it replaced, really fast and really quiet. Clothes smell a lot cleaner too! Impressed so far.
Nanny used ours for years.....ok she used fast spin and sat on it, doesn't everyone?. Anyhows they're great. Be warned....buy Inde**** and you certainly will be!.
