A couple years? Jeez, that's more of a positive review than a negative.

You think? The laundry basket we had before this one we paid £3 for and had it ten years! Until I stood on it after one too many

Well, I've bought about 3 'normal' ones in the last year or 2 and they all suffer the same fate when I try to carry them one handed against my body when opening doors etc, they snap at the handle. No idea what I paid for them though, probably not a lot.
Mines split after about 18 months but is still kinda usable. Tempted to order a new one now.

Built like a tank this one Rusty, should get years out of it even with one handed operation (I do the same thing).
Very handy
We've got the square version of these. Had them for about 5 years now. Still going strong and a great space saver.
