    Thanks for posting. Despite saying expired the deal is still on and it would cost me a lot more than another £4/£2 for petrol to go and get this so I am happy thank you.

    Some sellers describe these as a step as well as a footstool, but I wouldn't trust it to stay stable (it could even fall apart). I sought one out about a year ago to work in my mum's garden, that's probably what it's better for. You couldn't sit on it for long periods of time.

    And yes, B&M and sometimes Aldi sell this for about £5.

    (edit: In fact, I'm remembering my brother was doing some DIY - putting up a curtain pole or something - standing on one of these and it fell to bits, he could've hurt himself quite badly). (edited)

    I bought one similar to this from Lidl for £4.99 but had to take it back a couple of weeks ago because 2 of the 4 location lugs broke off. I have replaced it with one of these from Dunhelm
