Can't believe I didn't see this earlier. I was itching for an ice-cream and instead had to settle for a refreshing glass of coconut water. Oh well.

These look like, probably taste similar but actually bigger than Magnums so I'm pretty sure they will go down well in this weather. They are on offer at Waitrose with a buy 3 for 2 and combined with PYO it reduces individual packs down to 70p meaning each lolly will set you back ~23p if my maths is correct.

Waitrose Belgian Milk Choc Ice Creams 3x100ml
3 vanilla ice creams covered in Belgian milk chocolate

Waitrose Almond & Milk Chocolate Ice Creams 3x100ml
3 vanilla ice creams covered in milk chocolate with roasted almonds

Once again using Waitrose PYO for this offer to work you must...

1. Add either or both ice creams to your Waitrose PYO list
2. Buy 3 at a time (current offer is 3 for the price of 2)
3. Scan your Waitrose card at checkout
4. And don't forget your free tea or coffee although I prefer ice-cream right now

You get yourself a Waitrose card then go to the Pick Your Own Offers part of their website or download the PYO app. You can select 10 items from across the whole range of food and household stuff they sell, including a lot of brand names. You can make 10 changes per month after that. You get 20% off each of your picks each time you buy. Plus a free tea or coffee per day when you make a purchase and a free paper if you spend over £10.

What's not to like?

Linky thing with full details.

OP, great spot, heat added (hope it doesn't melt the ice creams oO ).

If you're into the almond ones, do try these Lidl ones mysupermarket.co.uk/tes…tml

They're £1.79 for 6.

They're much nicer than Magnum and the inside is creamier. I do like the Waitrose almond ones too (the nuts are more crisp) but Lidl ones are my fave

this coffee business is too much hassle - at a waitrose I frequent occasionally (finchley road) one has to ask the cashier for a mug and then return to the other end of the store where a coffee machine is located and there's nowhere to sit down and peacefully drink it!
