MEGABUS are still offering very cheap deals you just need to root them out.

One way ticket to Belgium from London Victoria on the 16/9/14 for just a quid. Journey time is 6 hours 30 minutes

Return journey is a massive price increase to £15 for the return leg but i mean £16 for a return journey from london to belgium . Don't think you could get a rail journey of 80 miles in the uk for that

nice

hot..

Great deal! Any other such deals available?

found a couple of single tickets but not 2 on the same journey!!

cheap for a reason.

Seems a bit more reasonable than the Amsterdam trip.

Brussels is a good place. We did this last year when it was 50p each way! The journey was fine, no problems. Spent the money we saved on a good B&B in Brussels. ( Taptoe, it was called, right in the centre and an easy short walk from where the Megabus decants you.)

Just checked the whole of September, some of August, and some of October and there were no tickets available below £15 so cold from me I'm afraid. Not that £15 to Brussels is a bad price, but it's the standard price so not really a hot deal.

what's the dates got to do with the one I posted? Quite clearly specific dates if you bothered to read the original post

surely the issue here is you have to go on a BUS??

Also you can get your money back if you buy some tobaco which is a lot cheaper in belgium than the uk

Would love a cheap deal from Glasgow

Surely a comfortable car will cost you £100 in fuel? and you have to stay awake

from bournemouth to london is still more expensive (via nash trash) than to go abroad, stop the moanin ya miserable gits!! :poO:D

oO X)

A return to my town centre costs me 4 quid you can't go wrong. You can't please everyone

Spammity spam?

Belgium is a depressing and grim place where the local delicassy is chips and mayo or for a main meal half a chicken with chips and mayo. On the positive side the bakky is dirt cheap ;-)

Hot deal

I've also just checked the date mentioned and the rest of September and there are are no £1 tickets left.

What route does it take?
Do we stay on the bus while being ferried across the channel?

6 hours on a bus, no thanks!

Their modern cuisine, like in France, is in a different league. You're obviously not very cultured. Belgium usually appears high up on quality of life charts.
Shopping is boutique culture and quite expensive, very few retail parks. The North is far more sophisticated and more modern than the UK (zoom in to any suburb streets on google maps, every house is different, old ones regularly demolished for stylish homes that are built with basements and walk in lofts as standard, what we only see in glossy magazines. No samey tacky housing estates that now define the UK.
