Thanks for the post thedynasty and Welcome to HotUKDeals

Belinea have been around a while and their CRT's monitor's were pretty good, so I expect these are decent quality too. Shame there's no DVI input, as that's quite an important selling point to some people these days.

If that 5ms is accurate, this is good price.

Just a shame its pre order and from OCUK (disgusting CS history and notorious for censoring their forums with gestapo type efficiency, nothing bad about OCUK may ever exist in the public domain about OCUK or any mention of competition, nice price but a company with a MD that makes stalin look friendly)

Thanks for posting thedynasty. I added a price to the thread title (or maybe Ray did - we may have been editing at the same time!)

I buy things from ocuk all the time and thankfully i have never had any problems but i have bought things from scan.co.uk and on several occasions theyve screwed me over

Never bought from them before schizoboy, so don't know about their bad points

No I didn't do it Emma I was too busy reading the spec :-D

I've had problems with scan before too, I mentioned that on the Scan free delivery thread, to be flooded with "scan were great with me" responses, I can guarantee you though that OCUK are far worse than Scan for when something does go wrong.

Those not willing to wait, there is a Belinea 8ms/800:1 model for £204.44 and Samsung 6ms/700:1 for £211 on ebuyer

Slight mistake in the specs (company's fault, not the post here) - WUXGA is 1920x1200 so this monitor is WSXGA

Good spot Johnmcl7, false advertising from OCUK, surprise surprise ;-)

Thanks for that Johnmcl I'll correct the original post.

Hm I'm coming across as a real hater here... no matter...

I just noticed, it has no dvi

I noticed no DVI also, which does let it down a bit.

sorry no dvi input. Its a downer seeing how all the new gpu's today run on dvi even my own graphics card uses Double dvi so i had to buy a convertor from ebay. convertors are cheap got mine for only £1.99 from ebay international seller. oh yer and does that free scan.co.uk delivery thing actualy work?

£6 more for instock, £251.33 delivered from here on Amtrak next day:

Ok i need to get a pc case ill get it from them and if the free postage thing does work ill let u all know.

I've never used Scan either, so feedback is appreciated on their services Thanks!

I tested the free delivery on OCUK. Spent £22, no probs

/edit although I have had problems with a return in the past (thought I'd give them a second chance)

I gave the postage on scan thing a try - worked fine, which is great as got a real bargain sata dvd writer plus some lightscribe media!

Shame about no DVI on this monitor... 22inches is a beauty!

I agree schizoboy..i had a bad experience with OCUK a few years ago and wouldn't purchase from them again.

Looks like a bargain but I wouldn't buy from OC. I don't want to libel the owner here so I won't go into details....
