Control from anywhere

With the WeMo Switch you can control your devices when you're at home or out and about using your smartphone or tablet.

This clever device uses your WiFi network or mobile internet signal to provide wireless control of your electronic devices. Whether you want to turn a light on or off while you're at work or just don't want to move from bed to turn the stereo on, this switch makes it simple to control your devices.

Easy to use

All you need to do is plug the switch into an electric socket and plug a device into the switch. When you download the free WeMo app to your iPhone or iPad, you will be able to turn your device on and off wherever you are. You can even set up schedules for when you want devices to turn on and off via your iPhone or iPad.

To take control of even more devices, all you need are more of the WeMo switches, as the modular system permits multiple switches to be used.

Don't buy, they can't maintain the wireless connection reliably.

Most of the reviews are good for it, maybe you just had a bad experience yourself only.
I've got a few of these and always been reliable... That being said this is kinda top end I'd really pay. These should be about £10-15 really
Managed to grab some a few years ago from a Tesco misprice, they are great and really reliable.

I think I would describe the reviews and my experience as "mixed", depending on your router and phone OS and phone WIFI modules. A truly good product should not have so many one-star review. I guess you can choose to return it if it does not work out for you.
These are rubbish. WiFi drops out all the time. get TP Link much better.
TP Link much more reliable and can be found for under £20, on here at £16 recently
Changed the WiFi router to stick with one channel, wemo switches work fine now, never had a problem
