See amazon.co.uk/Bel…64Q for a similar cable for £2.91 delivered.

Boo to PC world!

you'd be off your head to pay this price for a patch cable.

5m cable £1.98 here toolstation.com/sho…745

If you need a cure for the hiccups, go look at PC World's prices on cables...

Wow never heard of Toolstation but looks really cheap and branch near me

Just think of the ignorant who are duped into paying "The store price is £24.99" before going on to the HDMI cable section to be fleeced yet again

There must be plenty of them as the OP believed he'd got a good deal - which he had FROM PC World - but not for the product, UNLESS he wanted it right now = price premium for not planning ahead.

Don't forget there are also even more Screwfix branches around (I presume Toolstation cloned their idea?) which offer various Ethernet cables at not too shoddy prices IF you need to get one without waiting for postman - eg a 10m patch cable (not clear if 5e but for most household applications it wouldn't matter) for sub £5.

As fas as I'm aware .... the family that started Screwfix sold to Kingfisher group (B&Q etc), to get around the in's and out's of the buy-out 'a.n.other' family member started up Toolstation and their prices are usually better than Screwfix but not a big a range available. I think Toolstation in now 'majority' owned by Travis-Perkins.

I agree the Amazon price is good, but the ToolStation price would be £6.98 including delivery, so I had a better deal from PC World !!

www.ebuyer.com have very good price on cables and a good range of colours too

when I see PCWorld's and Maplin's in-store pricing on cables I feel like I've stepped through a time warp by 15 years!

Either go to one of their shops or push the boat out and buy a few and get free delivery

You will never get a good priceon cables from pc world.Belkin printer cable £24.99, 5m HDMI cable £147 and the list goes on

I'd be rich if I sold all of my ethernet cables at £1.22/meter!
