Ive got a wireless printer myself, USB? isn't that oldschool now?

Indeed; my current PC, previous PC, and I think even the one before that don't even have parallel ports on the motherboard!

Pentium 2, massive 4GB hard drive and 32mb ram, she was a beast

I think you would be surprised if you knew how many Dot Metric printer still use Parallel Ports some only have Parallel ports and the printer cost over £700

Yes, there is a lot of very expensive specialised equipment still using parallel ports.
