I have been looking around for a wireless router to connect up my PS3, and have just stumbled across this. The same piece of kit is going for £100 at PC World, and I can't find it any cheaper than this on the net.

What do people think, good deal, or is this router not worth it??

Why does anything with Quidco get higher heat, I feel a conspiracy. £66.67 here lambda-tek.com/com…503 if you don't want to sign up to Quidco.

uuummm why have they got a picture swiped from the misco web site?

iv had this before and it was really really poor. weak signals, freq drop outs.

stay well clear!

I havew one opf those. They are just rubbish. Better to go for D-Link or Netgear. This one is with some defects and no new software available. Very poor router, I wouldn't buy it again

spot

I had some intial problems but i seem to have sorted them, you have to make sure protected mode and QOS is turned off and that you don't have any usb power saving functions enabled if you are using it with the N1 usb adaptor (recommended). Don't expect anywhere near 300mbps though a general rule take a 0 off the end of the advertised throughput. I would say though that I've owned two other draft-n wireless routers (by linksys and netgear) and this is no better or no worse.

I got it to support my new faster 16mb broadband, it goes through a wall and a ceiling and still gives me 20mbps - 30 mbps per sec. My previous wireless g router could only provide 9 - 10 mbps in the same location.

I'm seriously considering switching to a powerline homeplug in the future, there's a 400mbps one coming towards the back end of this year.
