high lol

Good price for a quality cable

we use these at work and find we have one problem that probably doesn't matter to many but thought i should point it out: the screws at each end have a plastic cap, the plastic cap is soft, so when tightening them with a screw driver it often gets mangled. we need to screw them in because we of the kvms we use. home users wouldnt really get this problem.

now this is a hot deal, especially as i thought i needed one for something but now cant remember what!

Some good deals today Adam!

Fair enough screw them in but can't see any reason ever to tighten them
with a screwdriver!

I got the 5 meter one off amazon the other week for about £5 so I could bung it in the back of the comp and tele

I got a 2 meter one off there at the same time for a mate so he did not have to pay p+p and it was £2.60 .

Nice find!

Are these the cables I would need to connect my laptop to my LCD:?

Possibly - it depends on your laptop and your LCD, if you have a VGA port on both your laptop and LCD (blue port with 15 holes arranged in three rows) then this would work although you'll need a separate cable for audio.

John

yep, as stated above. it brings great quality and makes your computer look like its 42'' or 50'' depending on your LCD.

not bad for a good quality vga cable

would this connect a macbook to a TV?

Good price for a branded cable. As others have said may be useful for use with your LCD or plasma TV to help you quickly connect your computer.

Depending on the model, it's likely, but you'd also need an adapter from apple...

Most have DVI out so you would get a DVI - VGA then this cable.

Generally, yes, a lot of laptops have VGA output. I'm using that configuration right now in fact.

I remember buying 2 of the 5mtr versions and they were awful. Displayed ghosting and a degraded image, too. I hope these 2mtr versions are better cause it makes me wonder about their build quality.

But seriously, avoid the 5mtr version cause it's the pits. I bought a no-name 5mtr model from ebay and haven't had any such issues. Just a note for those looking at them for an extended 5mtr setup. DO NOT get the Belkin Pro 5mtr version!!

Your going to get loss over 4m I think due to there being low conductivity. Might be wrong.:?
