"Belkin style" iPhone 5/6 cable 1.2M £2.99 @ NMRNS Ebay

I bought two of these cable recently from Tesco for £15 each. Had to for work. So big saving from this eBay seller.

These work unlike the cheap £1.99 -£5.99 cables that eventually show an "this accessory may not be supported" warning on your iPhone screen.
Several colours available and sturdy.

How do you know these are genuine?

Shipped without box or you can pay £1.99 to have the box sent. Are these genuine?

Also states in the listing 'In rare cases when you connect the cable to a mobile phone you will received a MSG saying
"THIS CABLE OR ACCESSORY IS NOT CERTIFIED AND AND MAY NOT WORK RELIABLY WITH THIS IPHONE"
The reason for the notification MSG is that the cable
Discard the MSG and enjoy the product!' Makes me think it's not genuine. But I may be wrong

Bought one of this "genuine" Belkin one (not from this seller), got the error message and won't charge!

Have got 2 of these, from this seller. They work fine...

These aren't genuine. The lightning connector will fall off eventually.

The "genuine" ones are just as bad

They're terrible, don't buy. I see no reason why people just buy a lightening cable if they are cheap. Whether it's Belkin or Poundland they will do the same job except one will last a few days longer. Just buy an Apple charger and return it every time it breaks and you'll end up saving your money, will be about 4 times a year max if you use it properly

I bought a pack of five off eBay and they work absolutely fine. I thought that I might need five because they might not be genuine but they work great! I'm still using the original two which I opened, one on my desk and one along with my portable charger which I take out to school, and absolutely no problems at all. I sometimes get the 'this cable it not certified...' message but it still charges completely fine. I bought my five off eBay for about £8.

why does apple have to be so complicated for chargercables, I use a normal non branded USB cable for my S4 been working fine for months it cost most likely £1 whereas a family member has a iPhone and has had to replace his iPhone cable several times trying cheap methods £1, £5 cables even genuine lightning and they break. terrible apple, terrible build quality on cables. why not let non certified work for people and just bring a warning sign stating it may damage your phone if you are really that concerned then it's up to consumers to decide if they still want to use the cable to charge!

I bought a Belkin car charger kit in the original box from a different seller and these cables are identical and are authentic Belkin products as I have already purchased two from this seller.

This is the seller I bought them from

Look at this on eBay:

Belkin 1.2m iPhone 5 Sync Lightning Cable USB Charger iPhone 6, 5, iPad Air[Black]

They work fine...

Until they break.

They sell these in poundland sometimes, easier to get from there and cheaper

Because Apple is all about making money and don't care about making life easier for their customers. Same thing applies to the cables used in their computers which are also proprietary.

Funnily enough same thing can be said about anything including brand name products

Where can you get original ones ?

Go to the Apple store and see the reviews on the real thing.

So people write their reviews based on using fake ones.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

How heavy is the box ?
