My friend Dennis was happily married to Kimmy for 13 years (unlucky 13 I say) when suddenly she went on to his computer, just to check a cake recipe out, and found all of his porn, chat site user names, women`s photos (not wearing much) and things much much worse. My friend Dennis is now single if anyone is interested.

Anyway, he should have used this little device that we have. Its really handy because it means that you can have one computer with all your dirty-I-don`t-even-want-to-know-about-it porn and the second that your wife for can look at for cake recipes. With just one click of a button you can switch between one and the other. This may sound like a little gizmo but I`m convinced it will save 1000`s of marriages.

That stupid little tale tells you little about the item, which is why you probably getting the cold votes!

Seems a handy thing to have in my opinion, and at a very cheap price.

Occasionally I have to hook my monitor up to computers people have dumped on me to fix for them, so this would come in handy for that! :-D

Hot from me anyways

£4.99 + £2.99 does not equal £6.98 btw

ordered two myself, pity they dont seem to be quite sure on the site which model they're selling

Got one. Useless. You're basically hotswapping computers between USB keyboards and mice. Press the button and hope that Windows recognises you just effectively put back in the keyboard and mouse you took out last time you pressed the switch. Pray that it swaps over the monitor too, as it's at its most infuriating when it insists on showing you the desktop of the wrong machine while giving you blind control of the other.

A waste of money, even at £5ish.

I can be excused, I am a bit tired, TBH..

Isn't this more commonly known as a KVM Switch?

I have had this product for a year or so now, sometimes it takes about 30 seconds for the keyboard to start working with the new PC, but then it is a wireless one so maybe that has something to do with it. The mouse is still a USB Cabled optical mouse and that swaps over within 5 seconds of hitting the button.

Mine does not have this issue, and for what I need (run a small webserver + desktop) it was a bargain at £14 odd a year ago

regardless of the stupid story, is there any reason to vote this cold? its the cheapest i've ever seen this particular product so unless im mistaken that makes this a hot deal surely?

I thought it was a good price for a good looking product. Maybe people were confusing this with the PS/2 blekin KVM that were really really cheap in currys, posted a few times here before?

Expired now anyway.

This has been stupidly voted cold :x

I've found you can't always trust the ratings system on here. You also often get ridiculously overpriced (and ridiculously useless) items often voted hot because they are part of some popular franchise, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Terminator etc.

The 2 i ordered arriced yesterday. Solid/Quality bit of kit, well chuffed. Does the job brilliantly!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
