This device streams musicfrom your ipod/iphone to your car speakers via a radio frequency
I picked this up today for £10 in rochdale halfords, RRP is £50, online price has been reduced to £34.99 but its £10 instore. Good luck hunting these down. Works gr8 with my iphone. Only compatible with ipod/ iphone not MP3 players unfortunately

The cheaper alternative is a casette you can pick up for under £2 from tesco etc that has a input jack for the iphone speaker ear out socket, laso works with mp3's etc

Oh dear, were you never taught how to write in sentences? Or how to say please or thank you? Or have you never heard of Google? Or manners.

People like you annoy me so much.

I reserved this last night, and went in for this today.

The item (Belkin TuneCast Auto4 with ClearScan) in the link above has NOT been reduced to £10, its still £34.00. I got the halfords guy to ring the Rochdale store and they said it was £34.00.

Halford did mention they had an older version with is being discontinued reduced to £10.00 (I think this is the one you have purchased)

So, anyone thinking of reserving the one in the link above, I would'nt bother as its still £34.00.

Regards

Darren

complete & utter rubbish, if necessary I will scan my receipt, I did not purchase any old version at all. In fact the item didnt have the original price on it and I asked the girl at the checkout what the presale price was, she entered the product code on the system and it was £49.99.

Sorry you have had a raw deal, but dont make assumptions dude!

Anyone else had any luck?

Tut tut tut, you've obviously invested way too much time over the course of your life to being a knob..

As for the 'deal', i reserved one of these last night, just got back form Hlafords and these were £39.99, not £10. The OP must have got a good deal at his local branch only. I'll assume you posted in good faith, but this is NOT a nationwide deal.

Hi mate,

I'm only letting people know my experience, I not making this up.

And I've just rang halfords in Rochdale myself and they have just confirmed the item is £34.00 (cat code: 153034-0).

Regards

Darren

there's been more universal similar products available for less for years.

This is just one of them luck things.
You just got lucky as no one else has seemed to have got one.

Was there only one left at that store? or did you see many.

The only "knob" i see in this thread is you...another bone idle lazy freeloader who cant even be bothered with common courtesy IMO

Try being more polite, you may find when you need help on the internet sometime people may be a bit more responsive.

Thx OP will take a look at my local tomorrow.

happy times! :w00t:

seems a one off but still getting voted hot

Anybody have any experience of how well these work now ? I had an itrip a few years back but found it struggled in London to find a consistently clear frequency due to the amount of pirate and community radio stations broadcasting.

I liked the idea of this untill i realised my Nokia N97 has got a FM transmitter built into it.....:w00t:

I picked one up from the Rochdale store this morning for £10.
Was about to post it but saw this thread.
Yes there are other universal products out there but how many will charge your iPhone at the same time?
I've had a couple of the universal ones in the past and the quality is pretty poor.

you're gonna find that issue with any FM transmitter then, doesn't matter how good a transmitter it is if you can't find a clear frequency.

I have one somewhere that can use the full fm range, but still have had times I couldn't find free space! (of course, I'd love a really powerful one that could drown out the pirates! lol)
