Yes, I am quite pleased with it - especially for the stupidly low price of a fiver. The bass reproduction is predictably poor with low bass becoming more of a muffled rasp however I was expecting this from an FM transmitter so this didn't bother me. I use it with my iPhone 3G and find the sound is pretty good if you set the iPod EQ to "small speakers".

It comes with an adapter to charge and run it from your fag lighter but it can also be powered by 2xAAA batteries which is handy as it means less wires. I found the lowest setting available - 88.1 gave the best results - didn't have to retune during an 80 mile drive.

Cheap, but for a reason, I found these very poor when used with the 12v power supply although quality improves a little when used with the batteries instead

I find no quality difference whatsoever when switching between 12v and battery, only that battery gives you more freedom of where the transmitter is placed which can improve reception.
