Just bought this FM transmitter from my Local Tesco in Watford for £7.65, had been looking for this for sometime and couldn't find for less then a tenner anywhere.

this is the online link but proce is much higher online

This black Belkin F8V30800 TuneCast II iPod FM transmitter is a nifty little gadget that transmits the tunes on your iPod, or indeed any other MP3 player, wirelessly to your car’s FM radio.
Simply plug the TuneCast II iPod transmitter into your iPod, choose an FM channel that isn’t currently used by a radio station to broadcast on and then tune in; finally, you’ll hear some music on the radio that you know you’ll like!
Not only does this Belkin iPod transmitter transmit music to your radio, it also turns itself on and off automatically, saving battery power.

nice one, I'l check in my local tesco.

I had one of these from last time they were on here, about 2/3 years ago. It simply stopped working... it was just in a suitcase on a train, and it died. Never got to use it! Just a note that they might not be all that sturdy. Search YouTube for videos of how to up the power on this by fitting an external antenna, if that floats your boat!

Got one of these to use in the car.
It's really not that good in terms of tuning in, particularly where I live. Too many pirate radio stations interfere with the relatively low power output of this thing.
Plus it positively MELTS batteries and I always ended up using the ciggy lighter option to power it.
In the end I changed my car and got a new stereo which has USB/IPod and line-in capabilities so now it's gathering dust.
P.S. got mine from play.com for £4.99 2 years ago.
This is a good price right now though so (after all my whingeing) have some heat.

You can get them off ebay for about a quid.

I brought it for the car but it gets too much interference from other stations when driving.

I had one of these (bought from play.com for about £5). I thought it was worth a punt at that price. However, it never really worked properly - needed to keep retuning. Evertually it just packed in altogether. Maybe worth a punt but don't be surprised if it doesn't work well for you.

This is not a good product. Surprising possibly as you'd expect better from this name. It just doesn't perform. Mine went to Oxfam and I replaced it with a random fleabay cheapy which is so much better. Avoid.

I bought a no name brand one years ago before they were legal. They are only supposed to transmit a few metres but my one transmits over a range of about a quarter of a mile. I plugged my portable cd into it and left it playing in the house and then drove down the road until I lost the signal, it was nearly a quarter of a mile, a pirate radio staton in my pocket.

This name? I've always seen Belkin as a maker of half-assed products.

Also, I've had three different ones of these (one was Belkin), all were under a tenner and all got returned for being useless/broken. I got one for £25 and it's done a great job over the last year or so. If you use it a lot, it's probably worth investing.

Just got back from a trip to Cornwall, and used this transmitter in car, only needed to reset the frequency a couple of times and that's about the only problem i had.
