Great deal thanks

Ooooooooo!, very cool!.

Came across these in Ilford Poundland & Stratford Poundland some time back? (then as ever, it 'VANISHED'?!, hahahaha).

Thanx OP .. will check out my local ones again sooooooon! lol. :-)

Damn bought one for £3 bout a month ago, still haven't used it yet! Then again, I only got it to use up an amazon offer!

Will check out my local, last time I looked all the belkin stuff had gone

Release the geese! A little, at least!
Poundland, are patchy as hell, the likelihood of finding this kind of good kit in one's local store is well random.
E.g. the non-busy Poundland in New Malden = full of high-quality Belkin Cat5E and Cat6 ethernet cables (up to 15m, no less!) for £1. Years ago, mind! I took all I could carry. Belkin cables are quality. Does my local one elsewhere in S.London get anything useful in? Not really. Do they keep stocking the worthless 3.5mm extension cables that broke even when barely moved behind my TV? Of course they do. No-pride muppets.
Belkin USB extension cables can be good, I use a couple myself and I'm an IT Technician. However, the photo above is so damned small, how is one supposed to see anything useful in it? Stupid HotUKDeals site design, to be frank. Especially when the link doesn't link to actual product info... Thankfully most of the site is well-designed. Unlike Poundland's stock distribution algorithm...

fyi, got one of these, good for devices that take next to no power eg Bluetooth dongle. no good to extend phones USB from the power socket. still for a quid

Belkin for 99p? Bargain.

Excuse me being thick but can you elaborate?

what voltage do they transmit?

Using USB extensions can sometimes reduce the power delivered by the USB port to whatever device you're connecting, especially with longer/poor quality cables that provide more electrical resistance. This is why USB extensions of 5m+ need to be powered to boost the signal. I wouldn't have thought this would be an issue with a relatively short good quality cable, but if you're charging a phone it will depend on the charger too - a lower quality charger will be affected more by any additional extensions.

Just go to a computer store and get a proper cable rather than factory knock offs that end up in poundland because no one else will have them!!

My local still stocks about 5 different types of SCART cables. Looks like London generally doesn't get these nice things as I checked three different ones in North London and never seen any Belkin cables except their SCART ones.

yep, bought to extend the usb lead from good 2.1a charger to charge phone / tablet pluging in original lead from belkin extension to device, no charging indicated. but pluging belkin extwnsion in to pc was able to plug a nano bluetooth receiver in and connect.

devices were;
nokia 808
samsung 5
huld 2
and sj4000 (go pro alike).

All charge normally with charger and various cables. just thought i'd mention it as i was gonna buy 2 to use as above, happy with extension to bluetooth dongle but disappointed the primary function i bought it for didn't work.

That's disappointing and a little surprising. I've had luck before with Belkin CAT6 network cables (from Poundland) which were good enough quality to work with a 10 Gigabit network.
