It has ethernet ports and an access only point yep

gigabit ethernet or 10/100 ? if it's gig I'm in...

100 i think. Im after something with gig-e ports as well.

Access point meaning it can be used as a wireless bridge?

Anyone know if this is compatable with b and g ? o and heat added .

oh well. Fantastic price for pure wireless use though, but afraid I need gigabit personally. have a little heat anyway though.

shame about it not being gigabit, would be extremely hot if it were, how come its so hard to find a cheap gigabit wireless n router?

Whats good about gigabyte? !

WARNING FOR ANY "ENTHUSIASTS" BUYING THESE

first of all the tale below was entirely my own fault and I should have known better

I tried to upgrade the firmware on one of these wirelessly - and it failed and I bricked the router - WITH THESE THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY BACK FROM BRICKING THEM - ONCE BRICKED THEY STAY BRICKED - yes i know you should never do this (but ive done it on Linksys models loads of times and if the flash failed it doesnt brick the router there is always a way to rescue your router - but not with these
as a router it does perform well though and this is a good price - but there should be a way to UNBRICK after a failed flash - that would put me off any router including this one

Not 'N' but these routers belkin.com/uk/…282 can often be picked up for sub £20 on Ebay etc.. now. No Modem built in but have 4x1Gb Ports and will run in Access point only mode. Very handy.

HELP, lol i need a router to plug into my 360 and run my lappy wireless, Will this do the job well???

Great find. Just what I was after!

HEAT & REP ADDED!

I bought one of these for my GF in December when they were on offer, from the same company. I seem to remember the box was in French and it came with a plug adapter, no problem though as it worked. Overall its a stable router and it's not had to be rebooted once due to malfunction or dropped the signal once it's connected properly and in range.
My only gripe is that the signal only just reaches her bedroom depending on where you sit, mind you that is going through 3-4 walls and up a floor. Tbh everywhere else in the house gets a good signal.

Good cheap router if you want to take advantage of N
