Found in the Newport, Isle of Wight store

Plenty of stock in the freezer!

Banana ice cream with caramel and cookie swirls and chocolatey peace signs endorsed by Bob Marley himself(!!!)

Not too strong a banana taste and is a lot like Nesquik milkshake. Lovely stuff and perfect for this Summer weather. Peace.

Guess they over stocked on these ready, for the influx of fake "Harry & Megan's" getting the free ferry over from the hukd deal!
Great price. Never tasted this one. I find their ice cream way too sugary these days though and, in recent years, they all seem to have some kind plastic or gelatinous taste to them. It is like they are selling something that, IMPO, is labelled as ice cream but isn't really ice cream anymore.

When I think of B&J's these days I think of the Chorley Wood Process for making cheap bread. But they sell squillions of their tubs so people must like it.

They shoulda used Blue as the cover for One Love rather than Bob Marley.... Cheapskates
I have never heard of this one never mind had it! It sounds delightful
It used to be called chunky monkey and it's very nice banana ice cream

I love banana ice cream. I'm surprised the other big ice cream brands don't sell it

Not Chunkey Monkey, that used to have walnuts in. If this tastes anything like that though then I'm in!
YUM!

Go eat your 'Light' 'Ice cream'

Ice cream is a treat/dessert it should be eaten as such, there's nothing wrong with having something sweet every now and than, what you probably like isn't ice cream, it's "Frozen Dessert" it's called that for a reason
Bob Marley is associated with Bananas? Heard I thought he was known for consuming a lot of something else

It is lovely! I'll admit I only bought it because it was £1.49, wasn't sure if I'd enjoy it, but knew my son would.
Sprinkled with some 'home grown' Yaman.....!
It's not chunky monkey but I've had this and it tastes amazing easily my favourite flavour at the moment

Yes you're right sorry it's not quite as good but has the same banana ice cream.

Chunky monkey was the best ever and it was fair trade, would love to see it come back.

Nice deal but nothing competes with the Vadbury Cream Egg Ice cream £1.69 even the burd loves it and she is a right fussy beggar!
This is my fave flavour can never find it in stock anywhere
Another vote for chunky monkey. Can only get it by the scoop now in cinemas, Ben and Jerry stalls etc. Will have to try this but caramel is a poor substitute for walnuts.
Sounds good. Has it got jam in?
Found in my local homebargains thanks!!

Really! In my opinion, Cream Egg ice cream is the worst of the chocolate bar/biscuit ice creams. It is sickly sweet and if it weren't, for the chocolate pieces, it would have no variation in flavour. I bought a couple of tubs a few months ago when they were on sale. I tried one (sorry I meant, we tried one, as obviously I wouldn't attempt a whole tub by myself). We couldn't finish it, it was that bad. I still have the other one in the freezer. It's like leaving the coffee chocolates as the very last in the tray.

My favourite is the Häagen-Dazs Strawberry (not Strawberry cheesecake) when we can get, failing that, their Pralines & Cream.

What can I say I am just a prole obviously - i like the sickly sweet cheap and cheerful stuff and i love cadbury cream eggs and its tastes just like em so luvvly jubbly you obviously like the overpriced, expensive gear with the fancy foreign name but each to his own.
I got some! My local usually never has the deals posted on here.

Thanks op.
Had 1 left in Caerphilly, but it wouldnt scan; probably getting rid of them and removing from system.

So they charged £2.50 as only had label for cookie dough and one other flavour in freezer 😡
Chunky monkey non-dairy in Sainsbury's at £5.50 a tub

I did say that it was just my opinion. No need to get all defensive about it. For what it's worth I like Cream Eggs it's just that this particular ice cream version is too sweet for me. I like HD and B&J brands as well but on my income I can only indulge my (slightly less) sweet-tooth when they are on sale. I certainly could never justify, to myself, buying ice cream at 420p a tub when I know one of the big three or a chocolate bar ice cream will be half price within a couple of weeks.

Keep the heid I wasnt upset i was just being sarcaustic - Its a Scottish thing.
Did I not add a smiley? If not then it was remiss of me!
I wasnt being defensive just honest my tastes are simple when it comes to food - taste is all - sod the calories , fat , sugar content etc etc etc If I like it I buy it and eat it , life is too short to worry about trivialities - So you like Haagen Daz not a problem!

Hmm i see i did say "each to his own" does that not imply i was being impartial?

I don't think anyone else got the joke.

This is
So
Nice! Went back for another two tubs - nice
In a oyster shell
Bought this in HB Newton Mearns a couple of weeks ago, had one spoonful and threw it in the bin just glad I didnt pay full price.

Was still tonnes of it stacked up in there the other day - probably cheap and lots left as its horrible
