Finally! I've wanted a blue Ben Sherman Harrington for ages! Just ordered and they applied at automatic 15% and free delivery at checkout for new customers so £42.50 total. If the 10% TCB pays out then that's an added bonus too. Thanks very much for posting the deal OP!

Just tried code GYXR7 for 20% discount and it seems to work. If you don't use TCB and are collecting then that brings it down to 40 quid.

Looks nice but wish they had it in small

I have 3 already, all XL and although the first one I bought many many years ago is what I would call a true XL and is too big for me, the more recent ones feel more like a large than XL. Not sure if they have a free returns policy but if they do you may want to risk a medium.

Yeah they are pretty easy to return, I think you just fill the form in and drop it back at the Hermes drop off point. 28 days I think on returns. I usually just put mine on account and pay back before the interest, saves getting charged unless I'm keeping.

My point exactly. Go on your average high street and try and find anything above xl, usually its the opposite.

Are you referring to any tartan lined harington similar to the ones worn in This is England or did someone actually bring out a specific This Is England 'official' version? If you just want any black tartan lined harington then you can pick them up new at market stalls all over the place for as little as 10 quid. They don't tend to feel as nice quality as these Ben Sherman ones but for the price you can't go wrong. Loads on ebay too...

90s?, I'm to old for cool now although a jacket is a jacket surely.
90s was baggy jeans and smack, crack n pot t shirts + ma2s for me. Blonde hair also. I recall a leather waistcoat also, that was a big mistake.

GYXR7

Just found that code using Google, I applied it and got 20% off and free delivery, so just got this jacket for £40 delivered. Worth a go.

Cheers op.

90s was dodgy fashion wise to say the least. What happened to Kappa tracksuits?. Thank god I don't care anymore

LOL...I had the leather waistcoat, worn over a 'smiley' t-shirt, flared jeans and day-glo green kicker boots topped off with a permed 'bob' hair cut. The leather waistcoat really did get a battering after continued nights out in sweaty clubs though.

One item I do still have is a Troop tracksuit in absolute mint condition because I never wanted to get it trashed. Quite glad I kept it as they go for a fair bit on eBay now...something to pass down to my kids They were made up when I showed them and told them that!

Good call, have been looking for a new jacket to replace my old Budweiser denim. Time to re-live my youth.

Ben Nevis Clothing, 237 Great College St, Camden.

What a joke...went to check status of my order and saw that it had been cancelled!! Not that they bothered to actually tell me.

So if anyone else has bought one and not received it then its unlikely that you will as their customer services have just told me they don't have any stock and they won't be getting any more!!

She couldn't actually see that I was annoyed in having to find this out myself by chance when checking the order status!

First and last visit to Jacamo.

Mine arrived today but despite my previous comments about sizing, it seems a Ben Sherman XL is a true XL again these days and as such is too big for me. I'm a bit gutted given the comment above about no more stock. My fault though, can't fault Jacamo.

That’s a bit of a bummer, all the reviews I’ve read when they discuss fit say go a size larger as they run small!

I just noticed M&M Direct have a new listing for Ben Sherman Harrington jackets in Navy Blue and Black for £39.99… saving £45.00.

Not purchased from them before so thought I’d give it a try, postage at £4.49 usually means it’s not as cheap as it sounds but its free when you spend over £75. So, given the confusion over Ben Sherman Harrington jacket sizing I’ve ordered a medium and a large with a view to returning the one that doesn’t fit. You can buy a pre-paid reply label for £1.99 at point of purchase (£2.99 if you want to buy one post purchase). If a genuine Ben Sherman Harrington then £41.98 is still a good deal I thought (and cheaper than Jacamo).

What sweetens the deal even more is that if you log into Quidco you can opt-in to their £2.50 cashback bonus when you spend over £5 before midnight on Wednesday 15th November with one of their retailers– which M&M are, effetely paying for that return postage label.

If the jackets aren’t the real deal I’ll return them both and shouldn’t be out of pocket.

TK Maxx website also have some at 40 quid...probably limited sizes though. Like the one you linked to, they don't have any logo on the jacket though which may bother some and not others. The one you linked doesn't show the lining either so wondering if Ben Sherman are producing a cheaper version with plain lining etc for budget stores. Just guesswork though. I've seen cheap plain lining ones on ebay in the past and always thought they were counterfeit but doubt places like this would be selling fakes.

UPDATE: Looking on Ben Shermans own website it seems their current range don't have the embroided logo either so my theory may be rubbish and the ones you linked to could be the same as the ones Ben Sherman are flogging at 95 quid. Let us know how you get on. I may buy another!

That's exactly what I thought! I've been trying to compare them as I couldn't see the inside lining, the pockets or the logo so was wondering whether this was some cheaper version like Dr Marten's do with their boots and manufacture them abroad somewhere. I'll let you know, if they aren't the real deal they'll both be going back and I'll know what to watch out for in future

I could be wrong but unlike Docs and Fred Perry, that do both expensive English made and cheaper overseas made stuff, I think all Ben Sherman stuff is made overseas. All of mine including the one from Jacamo are made in China. As I said, I don't think you will have ordered fakes but I guess there is a chance they make 'budget' models the way Vans and other companies do to sell in their outlet stores. Fingers crossed for you though!

Ah, I didn't know that, probably a poor example please don't think I'm some form of far right looney The only Ben Sherman item I think I own is a pair of their red, white & blue target cufflinks! Mmm...thinking about it that might also sound like I'm a bit of a nationalist!!

I'm not precious about having logos prominent...I guess what I was getting at is I'd rather not spend £40 on some cheaper version of an iconic jacket that could be had for around the same money if only I was a little patient for the right deal to come along...like the one at Jacamo.

Anyhow's, I'll be sure to report back to you on whatever gets delivered from M&M...good or bad!¬

Quite by chance I was passing by a TK Max store today so I popped in to see if they had any in stock and to check out the sizing. I wasn't expecting to find the one I was looking for (Navy Blue), they only had the green ones but it did have the sizes and I can confirm that the fit were true to size, medium fitted me just right. They also had the tartan lining and seemed the genuine article.

The additional photos on the M&M website have put some further doubt in my mind as it shows a straight seam rather than the umbrella style common to Harrington's. I haven't seen that on any of the jackets on the Ben Sherman website. Thought I'd drop you a note in case they have your colour/size available - if you have a store nearby you could order two to try, get the free delivery and return the one you don't want. I've just ordered two mediums, can't decide on the colour now so ordered a blue and stone! At least I know they will both be the right fit.

I'll let you know about the M&M ones, they were dispatched today. I'll have to make sure the other half doesn't find out I've ordered 4, she'll moan like hell despite the reason for me doing it!

I looked closely at the ones on TKMaxx website. To confuse things further, the black one showed a check lining but the others don't show anything. On close examination I noticed the zip on the black one was different to the others so wondered if it was perhaps a different model to all the others. I do have a TK Maxx close by so may try and pop in and have a look. Thanks for the update.
