"The BenQ G2222HDL 21.5inch HD1080i/1080p Monitor (9H.L3RLN.IBE) is a TFT LCD/LED monitor with a 1920x1080 resolution, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 5ms response time and a 250cd/m2 brightness.

The BenQ LED monitors come with an ultra-high dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 to add colour depth and definition to darkened and complex visuals, so that everything you see – from the brightest white to the darkest black – is perfectly rendered to deliver the most incredible picture performance. With the help of LED backlight technology and its capability to promptly address the lighting changes, every image detail is perfectly rendered with optimized colour and brightness performance without light leakage even in darkened scenes. This is especially true for the black and yellow colour gamut. The BenQ LED monitors are backlit by performance-steady LEDs to give you the most stable brightness and flicker-free settings. Their instant-on capability boosts operational efficiency, keeping everything is picture-ready from the moment you turn on your screen.

With global warming worsening, it's even more important to cut down CO2 emissions! The BenQ LED monitors can reduce power consumption by 36% in comparison to traditional monitors, saving you energy as well as money. LED panels are mercury-free – which means they won't pollute the water during manufacturing or recycling process. Since LEDs are known for their durability, this monitor is practically maintenance-free. Thanks to Senseye Technology and its six proprietary calibration techniques, the BenQ LED monitors now display the truest colours via the five pre-set modes – Standard, Movie, Game, Photo, sRGB. I have one of these, it's a brilliant monitor, also voted best buy in the computer press. Hot

Scorchio! If only it was a couple of inches bigger...that goes for the monitor too

looks like this is exactly what i was looking for. Any suggestions on whether to buy this today or wait for something in January?

Buy before January. All of the best deals will be in the lead-up to New Year and the VAT increase.

This is a great price anyway.

Got one of these recently for a build I was doing for a friend. It's a VERY impressive budget monitor, No physical adjustment of any sort and no bundled DVI cable but more than made up for on the image quality, which was better than most of the more expensive alternatives in its class.

Seen these appearing for under £100 recently so you might get a fraction cheaper if you keep looking, but wouldn't have thought it would go much below this mark tbh, so if you're after a genuine qualty 22" look no further.

Put it this way, Amazon sold out of their stock at £104.99

You are probably best to get it now.
