Just spotted this, its personally the 1st one I have seen with LED Backlight, although there will probably be loads of them. I suppose it will save some running costs!

I have already pointed out it is Not OLED, but if anyone thinks they are going to get OLED technology for this price I don't know what dreamworld they live in

Thanks for the nod about the VAT being charged on the Delivery

Dont Forget Quidco @ 4.5% as well

Got the email earlier, be interested to hear what people think of it.

19" is fine for me, but ideally I need a higher resolution screen as my card is an ATI 5850 so it would be a shame not maximise its potential.

Misco appear to be adding VAT to the £4:99 delivery charge, bringing it to £100:85 delivered. For a huge 30p saving it can be had from Dabs for £100:55 delivered...

Just checked Quidco & theere's a possible 3% for Dabs & 4.5% for Misco...

Not really sure why you had to point out that its not OLED when it says LED...It's the same as me saying For Sale: Cat Food! NOT DOG FOOD!

Did you ever give your dog cat food?

the reason I stated it is because many HDUK users seem to take much glee in pointing this out on all the LED TV's that get posted

You've obviously not seen any other deal advertising LED tv bargains! lol

It seems easy enough for anyone with any technical knowledge but this forum always needs the obvious pointed out to avaoid being classed as a con and voted cold :-D

Apparently cat food has to be safe for human consumption, so theoretically you could, although not sure if you can the other way.

**** monitor though.

lol
dammed if ya do an dammed if ya don't

It's a reasonable price, but LED backlighting currently doesn't have many advantages in a monitor. Basically it may be slightly more efficient (36% is likely exaggerated) and slightly thinner but without LED shut off the black levels won't be any better and the extended colour gamut will just make stuff look oversatured at a lot of computer images are designed for sRGB.

Hi There, it looks like you have put a lot of thought into what you have said, and no doubt you have researched it. However now I am confused, although this monitor is the 1st Desktop LED backlit panel I have seen(but havent realy looked before). My Dell Laptop has the LED backlighting and I dont see any of the problems you have described...so like I say I am a little confused now, maybe I will wait until QVC start to sell them and buy one from them and try it for 30 days :-)
Thanks for the comment though

But the cheapest OLED TV is over £1000+ and it only a 11' inch. :whistling: OLED TV is still 3+ years away for it to become affordable.

It seems that because I have stated its not OLED that people cant state the obvious and berate the posting so you have to moan that I have made it clear to everyone...
