Seems a good deal for 24" 1080p LED monitor by BenQ. I've not thoroughly looked into it yet, but seems a good price. One potential negative is that I didn't spot any mention of HDMI in the spec.

Product Description
Whether you're catching up on the latest show on the Internet or viewing documents, the BenQ GL2460 LED monitor is the perfect choice for you in style! Featuring Senseye Human Vision Technology with optimized Eco Mode and Reading Mode, a dynamic ratio of 12M:1, and 2ms GtG response time, this 24"W 16:9 LED monitor delivers every image detail with the best viewing quality.

LED backlighting offers significant advantages over the CCFL technology used in older LCD monitors. These advantages encompass not only performance metrics such as higher dynamic contrast, no light leakage and flicker-free, but also environmental factors, like a manufacturing process and disposal that produces fewer pollutants.

GL60 Series blends perfectly with any decor, adding a hint of low-key elegance to your living space with its high-gloss frame and base stand streamlined by a curvaceous neck that creates stunning visual fluidity. Beautiful from any angle, the back of the GL2460 is carbon fiber patterned to recreate the powerful drive of a racing car and energize their whole appearance. Incorporating a 16mm slim bezel display, GL60 Series creates a sophisticated look while keeping things nice and compact. You'll find multi-panel configuration for home entertainment or office viewing use much simpler with less distraction from the monitor frame.

For a more comfortable reading experience, BenQ has adjusted the monitor's color temperature, brightness, contrast ratio and sharpness to create the all new Reading Mode which simulates the look of printed paper to help reduce the eye discomfort typically caused by prolonged and focused use of eyes on computer monitors.

The improved Eco Mode adjusts the backlight brightness level to ensure the highest display quality is presented to you with the highest energy efficiency. This intelligent mode reduces at least 37% of the power consumed by document viewing, Internet browsing and emailing and up to 44% of the power consumed by gaming.

The GL2460 comes with a dynamic contrast ratio of 12M:1 to add color depth and definition to darkened and complex motion pictures, so that everything you see, from the brightest white to the darkest black, is perfectly rendered to deliver the clearest, smoothest picture performance during movies and video games.

The GL2460 has passed Windows 8 and Windows 7 certification and are fully compatible with both color systems. Plug in the GL2460 to your computer, and Windows will recognize it instantly, making setup and connection effortless.

Experience the truest colors of the world with the BenQ Senseye® Human Vision Technology. With the help of its six proprietary calibration techniques, Senseye® 3 delivers only the best viewing quality in each of its pre-set viewing modes -VStandard, Movie, Game, Photo, sRGB, Reading, and Eco -V with the Eco Mode especially designed to save power and money.

It has HDMI , see the website … It has HDMI , see the website here

That's good if legit, I notice it has HM at the end of the model no. You're sure it's exactly the same model?

HDMI would only appeal to me for games console connectivity, but will be using for PC, so DVI/VGA will suffice. I think it's time to upgrade from my Acer AL1916W.
Looks like this model doesn't have a HDMI connection, speakers or a headphone jack, which the GL2460HM does have. Here's a link hope it works!…d=5
Glad that's cleared up as don't want anyone buying expecting HDMI. £105 though is a hot price for this, DVI/VGA is sufficient for PC use / gaming.

According to BenQ it doesn't.

DVI is the same as HDMI only it doesnt carry sound through the same cable but still for this price you do need HDMI.
How does this compare to the LG IPS224v?
There was another deal before:…G0O - BenQ GL2450HM 24 inch Widescreen LED Multimedia Monitor - Glossy Black (1920x1080, 2ms, VGA, DVI-D, HDMI, Windows 7 Compatible) £117.00

Which is better? For only £12 difference. Yet this one for £105 has a higher RRP than the GL2450HM but costs £12 more. Confused!

Different monitor, that one is the HM model which has a HDMI output.

I'd definitely go with the lg IPS. The price difference is minimal, and I can't really see the point of buying a non IPS monitor these days. You also get all three inputs (VGA, DVI, and HDMI ) I'm sure the benq is perfectly adequate, but for the sake of a tenner..
I'm pretty sure this is the model I bought, mine has VGA/DVI/HDMI on it.
the gl2460 has dvi and dsub the hm model adds hdmi to it
Did anyone order and receive this? I ordered but looks like mine has got lost/stolen in the post. I've since had a refund from Amazon though.
