Looks like the monitor is only actually 60hz checking the BenQ website
I'd recommend this 75Hz one instead. AOC Q3279VWF 31.5-Inch Also 1440P
Certainly not ideal for console gaming, no console currently outputs at 1440p, though the Xbox X and S might shortly...

Prob better off keeping an eye on eBay for Qnix monitors. 2nd hand but they are 1440 (2k) and all overclock easily to 100hz.

And no VESA mount either.
Pretty sure there was a 4k 28 inch from ebuyer posted a few days ago for the same money
Just be aware this screen uses a TN panel, as I'm not sure this has been mentioned yet:

If you're alright with this, then this is a very good price for a 27" QHD monitor.

For you personally. Fair enough.
I've had this monitor for a couple of years now and for non-professional users it's a beauty at this price imo. The main thing I noticed when upgrading from the 1080p 24" model was the extra screen real estate that you get when web browsing/multi-tasking. Some gaming experiences have improved for me also. I noticed a clear increase in image depth and detail in The Witcher EE for example. I usually make use of blue light settings though as the screen can be a little too bright for me at times.
