i got this monitor recently from ebay. great panel, it has better colours out of the box than my asus pg279q. The only issue with this monitor is its got huge bezels. its not pleasant when my other screen has tiny ones but this is just a minor annoyance otherwise thats a good price for this screen id say.

If only it had freesync that woulda been instantly bought

I've been looking at this all day but decided against it. There's next to nothing on the net about this, most reviews are from Poland, and are just OK.

The specs may be the same but I'm going to wait for another time, for the HT to drop or just something else, not falling for 'Black Friday' fever for something that has potentially been sitting in a dank warehouse for months.

Agreed strongly, if it was HT for that price you can hop into my shopping basket

This is very tempting with it's 10bit colour and built in speakers.

Worth keeping in mind though that consumer Geforce cards only support 10bit in DirectX not OpenGL so you need a Quadro card if you're using things like Photoshop.

I'd done the same thing but finally bit, I've not seen the HT below £295 all year and assume that its not going down anytime soon due to the sterling hit, hopefully the HE can only be a step up on the 22 inch Acer I currently use!.
I cant see any difference in specs between HT and HE so I'm keeping my fingers crossed

Let us know how it goes. I've had my eye on the HT for months now, it's been part of my partpicker build but the bloody thing won't drop. I'm going to wait for Monday/Boxing day deals, see what happens then.

I just bought two. As far as i can find out, the only difference between this one and the HT is that this one is 55W power consumption and the HT is 32. Not enough to spend another 70 each on them.

I also only do the odd bit of gaming but do quite a bit of photo editing so the bezels dont bother me at all ( you should see the size of the bezels in my LG and IIyama i have now lol).

Will do me just fine and saved me a few quid and i can also stop sitting here for hours looking at monitor specs and reviews hahaha

I ordered mine on free delivery so not yet here to confirm how good this is but it was showing 100+ in stock when I ordered so I suspect this will be up and down for a little while

i emailed benq to see the difference between the HE and HT

Regarding GW2765HE monitor, please find below the information requested:

- this monitor has 1.07B colors (RGB 8-bit + FRC data)
- this monitor has 2560x1440 native resolution. Please see User's Manual for more details regarding display options
- this monitor has the same specifications as model GW2765HT, except some special feature (E: channel differentiation vs T: height adjustable stand)

so the T has a height adjustable stand and the E has channel differentiation , otherwise the same screen

Is this any good for gaming? does anyone know if this model can be flipped to portrait mode?

Scrub that, I see it can do portrait mode.

Went back up to £315 but currently showing £229 again

This has arrived now and whilst I haven't had time to play with the set up yet fully interestingly enough under system information it quotes model GW2765HT so it appears to be further evidence to suggest that the HT and HE are the same screen
