Cheapest I have seen on Amazon. This monitor is still used by a lot of pro-gamers:

on-winning.com/ove…et/

Its getting on a bit and the Viewsonic xg2401 is a better choice but is £60 more expensive.

Yo is dis got Bluetooth g

I bought the 27" version 144hz 2560*1440 and it looks amazing and plays great. if this has the blur reduction it is even better on fps side of things. once you go 144 you never go back

1440p, 27", 144 hz, and freesync (largely useless unless AMD pull their finger out, but better than nothing). I own this monitor and it is INCREDIBLE.

The same model can also be bought refurbished from various resellers for £200 (so £10 more than your deal) but they don't list 144 hz in the description. Box.co.uk have it at £240 (http://www.box.co.uk/Acer_G277HU_27_WQHD_IPS_LED_LCD_Monitor_1681158.html) and it is linked directly from the Acer website which lists this model as being 144 hz, but the box website doesn't have it written in the specs. Same model numbers through all websites, so should be same spec unless Acer produced several different monitors with the same model number but different specs.

I'm certain that's a ~60Hz monitor (specs say 55 – 75 Hz). Any site that says 144Hz has made an error, and I can't see any mention of 144Hz on Acer's site: acer.com/ac/…007

there was one for £130 recently that I missed on. hope JL will have it in stock again

Bet you were a hit with the english department at school

I do actually own this monitor, have done for around 2 years. I remember having some fun with certain firmware issues at the time but I imagine that's sorted. Great monitor, no complaints here. I don't think 'dis' monitor has Bluetooth.

I currently have 24" 60hz monitor and looking to build a new pc so will step up to 144hz but what's the best size, 24" or 27". This looks to be a great monitor at my sort of budget.

It depends on your graphics card, whether it has G-sync or Free-sync. This is a good article on the best monitors:
wecravegamestoo.com/for…tml

The XL2411Z is decent for an under £200 monitor. All the rest on the link I have posted cost significantly more.

Yes yes yes, been waiting for this to come down in price. Was 225 last week. HOT!!!

Yep I'm pretty sure that's not 144Hz. Their site says IPS in the description too but the specs say TN panel.

If you have a amd card, you are better off paying the little extra and getting a viewsonic xg2401

You're right - I got my model numbers mixed up. I apologize.

sorry to high jack thread what amd or nvidia card would be needed to play at full settings at 144hz at 1080p

To get stable 144fps in most modern games would need something quite powerful (maybe GTX 1070 level), but you don't need 144fps in every game to get the benefit. As long as you have something like a GTX 970/1060 or R9 390/RX 480 then you will be getting well over 60fps in a lot of games.

It says £220 - expired?

I had this and the colours were... Well ****?! So many things to way up when buying a monitor sure 144 is great but il go for colour replication and image quaility every time. I'm a gamer and do photo editing so perhaps I was overly fussy.

Once you go 144hz you never go back
