A few reviews of this complain about how difficult it is to mount. Anybody have any experience with this cooler? Recommend?

I have also heard mixed views about be quiet fans. Their psu is highly reliable from experience but not convinced with their fans due to so many mixed views
Sarden if you had the money what cooler would you choose. Below £100.

i have seen the mix reviews online and yeah its all down to the installation, no problems here though, so its bit strange,
however positive reviews on the cooling which i back for the bang, and is good for the price, however its no Cryorg but neither is it that price, so its a good cheap alt aircooler then stock,

I'd recommend a Noctua. One of the NH-U or NH-D models. Fans are super quiet and mounting is very straightforward.

The fans are excellent, really very good, can be replaced with a noctua one in a few years of a noise develops.

That... Shouldn't even be a thing. I have 120mm Noctua case fan that is literally ten years old, and it's still fine. I have an NH-D15 that's three years old and is showing zero issues. Quality fans should last incredible amounts of time.

i think hes just reply to another bloke above with the statement IF...

my own personal experience of this: it will last a long time. so i think he was stating for a reassurance statement.
Yep, I get it I'd just hope the BeQuiet fans are equally good - I have a couple on a subwoofer amp, definitely don't want those to break...

Be Quiet fans are excellent - I use Silent Wings on my air coolers and case exhaust, Pure Wings on my radiators.

I've even got 3× 120mm Pure Wings mounted to the back of my IKEA Besta media cabinet where my PC lives, running on a PWM extension cable from my motherboard. Set a fan curve to react to CPU temps and the three fans exhaust all the hot air out if the cabinet. Very tempted to add a couple more fans to the centre cabinet, to cool my AV Receiver...

Example (just the one fan here, but added a couple more when I noticed what a difference it makes):

Can't really go wrong for this price, this and the hyper 212x are the value Kings with great performance!

Actually I had 2 Be Quiet PSUs that died on me. But this was quite a few years ago when they had the issue with the bad caps.
Looks like the snowman cooler from aliexpress which is half the price if you can wait.
I've got a be quiet Pure Rock installed at the moment, thermals are great, sound is negligible. Wasn't that hard to install though this fixing and mount looks different.

I have one, the mounting arms are counter intuitive because they partially slide through the fins instead of just clipping onto them. It's a bit like one of those executive puzzle toys, only it's a cooler. As for temps 3600 is 40*C idle with a room temp of 25*C/
Had a bequiet pure rock from about 8 yes ago on a 2500k running 4.3Ghz, ran till last year when I dismantled the system, and sold it on eBay for for just under £20

I had the dark rock on my 2700k for 7 years with no problems and the changed to the top flow for 3 years for the kids again with no problem. Their fans are good and I would recommend them although Noctua are better but do cost more.
