Berghaus Air 6 - 6 Berth Inflatable tent - £466.65 delivered plus possible £15.55 quidco @ Millets

Been looking for a decent tent and decided on an inflatable one - hopefully for less earache.

To me it still looks bloomin expensive for a tent - but lookaround and you will see, if you are in the market for an inflatable tent that its well priced.

This one looks steady away, has a HH of 6000 so SHOULD be waterproof !

It is a bit narrow in comparism to other tents but - we'll see.

Its on Millets and Blacks site, I had a code for Blacks for 15% off STORE15 - it wouldnt work, so found a code for Millets CLOUD15 that works which brings it down to £466.65 delivered then quidco has tracked at £15.55 - 4% topcashback would be even higher - 6.3% - but I forgot to look !

It has been on a better offer 12 months ago but havent got a time machine.

Think the CLOUD15 code runs out quite soon - so if interested you need to make the decision sharpish !

Heres hoping it arrives before the weekend, it may be the only good weather we get !

CLOUD15 Millets code expires on 07/05/16

Hot from me.

Roll on the summer when I can go camping again.
i'd love an inflatable tent, seen some that offer such great space inside but... that price is still not sweet enough for me.
I'm with you on the price, and there look to be some really good offers on poled tents out there and lets face it inflatable wouldnt appear to be a ground breaking technology, but I wanted something with a high hydrostatic rating on it. Its all about reducing the stress levels and risk of things going wrong. A poled tent with 6000HH isnt cheap so I am willing to pay this price.

This looks to be decent quality tent and as I say I have looked at loads of them. Some are mega money which for a few weekends usage a year - I cant warrant paying.

We will see - when I wake up in the night with a deflating tent, I'll be wanting my poles back !

I could imagine like inflatable beds eventually they will spring a leak after a few uses. The pressure on the seals will always give and at £400+ I wouldn't risk it.
I dont intend to be bouncing up and down on the poles and I hope there some better technology on the seals than on a £10 airbed ! Time will tell, think an outing or 2 in the garden may be the way ahead !
That's a good find, great HH rating.
I'm on the hunt for an inflatable tent too but only want one bedroom, and the 4 man is a bit small.
think decathlon do them at a decent price with one bedroom, being a good parent with a 11/13 year old I want them as far away from me as possible

Thanks, I took at look at those at the weekend but the build doesn't seem great- flapping doors and leaks. I'll keep watching out for a deal on the Vango Capri 500XL I think.
My friend bought the four man one, it was so quick to put up and the two rooms can be put into one room, which we had no reason to. Was in Cardiff during the big storm at the end of March, 100 mph winds and five days of torrential rain. Really good tent would recommend this tent highly if your looking for new one. If you only camp in good weather there are cheaper options though.
Good stuff ! think I would have been well home by then - they must be hardcore ! Dont mind rain -but wind makes me too nervous !
I've been going back and forward all day and I've just bought the four man and the porch!!
The HH rating is really good compared to other inflatable tents at the same price, and a 15% discount is too good to miss. Lets hope the OH doesn't mind me ordering it without him, I'm blaming you dazzler303 if he does!!
We bought this on a hukd deal last year. It's been absolutely great.

cant blame me - let me know about the porch I was tempted but theres 4 of us and 2 sausage dogs and I think the 6 will be big enough.....maybe I will have another look, they're big sausage dogs.
The vango airbeam for £250 ish deal last November was a scorcher.
The idea as a single mum of two young boys that a person can pitch a tent on their own is very tempting

just noticed someone has the 4 man plus porch on ebay with bids at £504 currently ! So you're ahead of the game and a new one not second hand !

Thanks for the heads up, maybe I'll send that link to my OH who wasn't particularly impressed with me last night! Apparently we had agreed to wait til next year to upgrade, whoops!
We bought one of these last week, thanks for posting the deal! Only surprise was that despite it saying it has 5 compartments, there are no dividers in the 2 bedrooms - anyone have any ideas? Thanks

It's a 6 man tent but it does say there are just two bedrooms. I'm not sure where you've got the 5 compartments from?? You'd have to get a ten man+ tent to get 5 separate bedrooms.
STORE15 code now works on Blacks website brings it down to £424.16 ! 6% quidco as well which takes it below £400 !

Thats annoying !
any ideas how this compares to Gelerts offerings? for example gelert.com/gel…290

Just got rid of a gelert tent, got a horrible feeling that gelert is now owned by sports direct - which is not usually a good sign for continuity of quality of product. Cant find many details on it but its 3000HH the berghaus is 6000hh so I am hoping that will be better. Our last gelert was 3000HH and it leaked after about 3 trips out in it.
