    Bit of a tangent but anyone got a genuine berghaus carpet in their tent having lived with a picnic rug? Not sure if I can justify the cost of it

    Tent carpet is well worth it. We didn't get berghaus one but there's a vango (I think) that was same or very similar dimensions.

    I've seen this tent withstand a storm whilst my tent got written off. My sister now has one and it goes up quick and is solid. You could put a £30 tarp up

    No, but we have the air 6XL which is excellent. Berghaus tents are brilliant. We just needed the bedroom all up one end.

    Also looking at this. We went in and had a look at one they had up in the store. Looks OK to me but the lack of porch is a downside...and £400 to buy as an extra unfortunately...making it an £829 tent for my needs.

    Could you get a gazebo instead. There is plenty of floor space in the middle section of the tent.

    Everyone camps differently though so appreciate that may not be feasible for your set up.
