Do you think this is waterproof?

Fabrics
Ardura 210 RS
An ultra lightweight nylon woven fabric with a single diagonal weave, giving excellent wear resistance whilst keeping the material weight to a minimum.
Ardura 70 D
A high density ripstop using highly packed 70 D fine yarns for low weight and strength. A combination of DWR treatment on the face and a 4 x PU coating applied to the reverse of the densely woven fabric gives high waterproofness.

Many thanks for the reply - shame it is not available in black at this price on Amazon

How big is 12litres? Would this be okay for general stuff like going to Uni, or is it primary for hiking?

not big enough for uni books, not for hiking....but biking! most hikers i've seen are carrying half their kitchen with them

cheers!

Mach 12+4
So that's 16 times the speed of sound then?....
On yer bike!!!

For uni you would need at least a 20-25l bag. There is a Mach 24 version of this bag that looks good if anyone has seen any bargains on it.

Thanks for the replies. I was trying to imagine putting 4 of the 1.5 litres Volvic bottles in a bag to get an idea of the size :w00t:

Shame it isn't bigger. Wanted to get one that is practical for uni stuff and hiking (carrying water, some food, odd clothes and towel) etc.

M8 if just adds extra room in ur bag read the info it tell u

Thanks sillysib, looks good.
Berghaus gear has never let me down over the years, and even though I'm not generally very 'brand loyal' I'd heartily recommend their kit.
Ordered one.

This would be ideal for biking or summer hiking. I don't need oen myself but if I did I would have one in a flash. Love Berghaus stuff...

Berhaus is top quality. We have lots of thier stuff from 30yrs hiking and camping and still going strong.
Would love them to make a bag you can use for cabin luggage on Ryaniar / easyjet, Most stuff sold is still 2-3kg when it is empty and many nylon holdalls just not robust enough

I saw some excellent Vango stuff in TkMaxx the other day. Including ]this, which was £22. Gutted I didn't buy it. They had other sizes of Vango too.

Pic of the mach 18 to give an idea of scale

Thanks but looking for something you can carry, when going on a smarter weekend flight. I know these are very trendy but does not quite look the part when I want to be a glamourous grandmother

Not asking for much, smart good quality robust material holdall with wheels that weighs less than 1kg :w00t:
