This is hot, but i just bought a pair of similar boots in the Clark sale so won't be needing these.
Is that code specific to these boots?

what are the sizes like please in clarks i take a 10 so will 10 be ok in these thanks
Not sure what the 'Tech' part after 'Trek' means, as I've only ever seen them advertised as 'Explorer Trek GTX'.
By the way, great price, but only available in one colour for this price. Personally, colour doesn't bother me with walking boots. I have a pair of these (navy colour) that cost £60 when on promotion from Go Outdoors. They are such a comfortable boot, and highly recommended, especially at under £50!

Shame the women's version isn't on offer.
please any ideas on size
?
Great boots...HEAT :-)

I'm a size 11 in shoes and trainers, and a size 11 in these boots fits me perfectly, even with walking socks on.

Need a size 7 which they don't do. Any ideas if I should go for a size 6.5 or an 8? Not sure if these are roomy or not.
How tight are you in a 7? I generally start with a size up when trying on walking boots, to give room for thick socks. However, I didn't need a size bigger with these, and I still have a little room with thick socks on.
If you're a small 7, then 6.5 may be OK, although I wouldn't buy new walking boots online if I hadn't tried them on previously.

I am a perfect UK size 7 EUR41. I've never bought/worn walking boots, only casual/formal boots. Would only wear these with normal socks though.

A normal UK size 6.5 EUR40 would be too tight.
Excellent just ordered
Great find, was really looking for these for past few days, just bought a pair. Thanks OP
Damn! The biggest size sold is 11.5 and I'm a 12.

I'd go for 7.5 or 8 if I were you, you don't want your walking boots too tight, and as you'll probably wear a thick wool socks, this will compensate for a tad bigger size. I always buy my walking boots a size bigger than normal shoes.
I'm a UK size 7, and I have a pair of size 8 walking boots. They are a bit roomy and I can only wear them with thick-ish socks.

Go for comfort, not price, I'll say. You'll be wearing them for a couple of years (hopefully). Then again, you can always return them back if you think they don't fit.
For gods sake. This site is a tax avoider with no shame!!!!!!
Are they only available in brown at this price?
Expired? Coming up at £119.96 before the 20% discount code.

Edit: still low price if size 9.5 or under.

This one is better:http://www.clarks.co.uk/p/20350988

i have both and yes the clarks are a better bang for the buck.
Can the Clarke's ones be bought in store or are they online only? It says collect from store but I don't know if that means deliver to store as I want to try them on before I buy.

That's probably why they can sell items so cheaply with free delivery, and why they are so popular on here.

Amazon are based in Luxembourg and have been 'accused' of tax avoidance by UK MP's, well they'll know all about honesty!!

Size 10's and 11's have now risen to £120!
Plenty of other good shoes in the offer too, just got these for xmas so quite chuffed.

Yes collect in store is free and they deliver to them to the store,no payment details required. Dont forget quidco
Also if you dont find your size on the website stores stock several sizes.

Having examined both the Burgess and the Clark's, the Clark's seem better quality too. It must be because Clark's specialize in shoes.
i got a pair of new balance 759 walking shoes for £19 delivered. great find op.
Slightly miffed! Bought the same pair of boots 2days ago on amazon for what was a then bargain of £58.
To late to return & reorder as my size is out of stock now :-(
Heat added all the same.
I do like the Berghaus boots, but they seem to lose grip in the wet after a while.
All sizes now OOS.

It's only on smooth rock - the slightest hint of moisture and its like someone had pulled a rug from under me.
Maybe it's because the boots are worn, or maybe I'm getting too old.
If you go to GO OUTDOORS they will price match and knock 10% off as well making these boots £42.12

They will not, as the boots need to be 'like for like'. So, the same size and the same colour. Go Outdoors only sell the navy colour in men's Explorer Trek boots. This is the case with our local stores, as I recently tried with the Women's Explorer Trek boots, but they weren't the same colour as what was sold in store.
