Effectively absorbing shocks and jolts, anti-clogging soles shed sticky mud, while memory-foam heel and toe features cushion you from impacts and give you the snuggest of fits.

I have these , I like them as they are super-comfy and I’ve found them to withstand some abuse on muddy trails near my home (daily winter/spring dog walks x2 for nearly five years). However, other people seem to complain about the toe leather peeling if you are on rocky trails and I will just complain that the laces are poop (they work themselves loose regularly due to material used I believe). Apart from that very good boots in my opinion. (edited)

I have a pair and whilst they are super-comfy, the leather is indeed super-soft and mine now look like suede
Soles are a bit thin too, so best for light tails, rather than impromptu off road which I tend to do, (edited)

    Price is size specific!

That's standard at Amazon. I'm 10.5 and they are £128: not a deal! But not a problem as it might still be a deal for somebody else.

    The sole looks kinda cheap

It's got the yellow marker, indicating it's a Vibram sole, so can't be that bad

Not sure - looks a bit tatty

Bought these recently from another deal. Find them really comfy compared to my previous boots, seem to be doing the job, and seem pretty hardy (but also very light!)

Are these any good for wide feet?
    johnorgail's avatar
    They are quite narrow.

Keen tend to be better for wider feet and the can often be found around this price point.

Only manlets (size 7) and the green giant (size 12) get this kind of price. (edited)

Prefer being a manlet rather than a Hobbit

I bought these recently to replace my 10+ year old Brasher Supalite II GTX which are now starting to get a bit worn on the grips.
Brasher and Berghaus brands have been bought out and merged and so I was a bit worried that they'd be as good. They look almost identical to my brashers so hopefully they'll last as long. (edited)

My size 10 was only £82.54 when I purchased last week, looks like they've gone up

Got these from Amazon back in 2018 when they had them at a bit of a misprice. As others have said they are very light and very comfortable. However, as has also been said they do scuff more easily than other leather boots that I have had. It hasn't affected the functionality of the boots but they did start to look look a bit tatty rather quickly.

Great for dog walking. I've had a couple of pairs now, only criticism is as others have said the laces can come loose every now and then. No quality issues though

Took these up and down Kili and no complaints from me…solid boots
