i have this chair had it about two years well worth the money they are asking

looks great got mine today 10mins to assemble comfy minuses: not adjustable back no head rest if your are 5.9 foot

Yes. I would agree, I've had mine for about the same time and it's terrific.

I purchased 2 of these 5 years ago when they were on offer for £9.99 each. They were junk. The faux leather on the arms wears out in a couple of weeks and looks awful. The only solution was remove the arms. Always go for plastic arms without faux leather else buy a bettter quality product,

ignore that comment wrong chair i have this one here

Great find thanks I ordered a black one for the same cost, the white one looks a bit 'porn scene' for me.

Had one for about five years and it's perfect. Be warned though, it's massive. Need it for my ar5e though.

Brown and black appear to be the same price too.

I have two of these, can not really fault them, used both for around 3 years now and they are needed to be replaced. I gues you get what you pay for.

9% cashback too

How much use does it get? I may plan on taking it apart every few months just to keep it all in good shape. Been through a LOT of chairs, but never bought my own...

Really good value have had a cream one for quite a few years
It is starting to wear that's after using for approximately six hours each day .
Easy to assemble
Treating myself to a new one
Thanks kypok
great deal

Bought in brown and free postage to the Highlands as well. What's not to like.

Surely can't be any worse than the Ikea chair my wife bought!

Second message about just having bought one......- why did my first message get moderated???

Tempted by this HEAT

bought one from amazon about 6/7 months ago, listed as a Melbourne chair I believe at twice the price of this. great chair and solid, happy paying what I didn't for it so at this price it's definitely worth it

Anyone have experience with the Malaga version?

I don't really like the fake chrome legs on the Berlin!

I only paid about £15 for mine about 5 years ago, that was an absolute bargain. Sat in it now, it is showing sign of wear but nothing too shabby or scruffy looking, but the faux leather on the arms is starting to show small cracks in the PVC. I do clean it quite often, this may help prolong the life of the leather and PVC. No problems mechanically and good adjustable tension for the recline. It is comfortable and the headrest is just right for me at over six foot. I would say its quite a wide seat, so an ass bigger than mine would fit in it OK, 36 waist and 16st. I say its still a good buy at this price. I might just get a new one at this price, in Black or brown though, mine is a powder blue/light grey colour. Heated.

i can run faster than you

Ordered one in Black.

Those who have this chair, is there adequate lower back support? I suffer from an occasional bad back so just wondering how this chair is for support. Thank you.

My back can be a problem but it isn't made worse by this chair. Like many here, I got mine from Viking several years ago and it's still going strong. Creaks a bit so needs the occasional WD40 but otherwise it manages itself.

I've really enjoyed its spaciousness. Five feet is better than 4.

The right arm doesn't like being hit against the underside of the worktop!!! And there's a crack on the left arm that needs some attention now. But the rest of the upholstery is as good as new.

Overall, superb value for money.

By the way.....here's the original deal!

Ive had this chair in black for a couple of months and I love it, its very comfy and I'm 6ft 1, yes the head rest is between my shoulders but it doesn't bother me at all. If you can tie it in with a freebie offer from Viking (I got the free yellow hamper with mine) its an absolute bargain!! I paid £30 for mine a few months ago, may be worth waiting to see if they do another hamper ready for Xmas, theyve done free tins of celebrations before as well

I have 2 of these and paid £15 5 years ago.
Looking for a replacement with better lower back support.
They are great value at £15 but I wouldn't pay this price for them.

I have had a number of these chairs for 1p through business transactions. Honestly, avoid. You will regret paying more than £10 for one. They are not good quality at all, they wear out easily on the arms and the seat. You have been warned. oO

Snap, Berlin is tens of thousands of miles away from Melbourne, it can't be the same chair

We have the Malaga chair (currently £36) which looks very similar. I found the chair really uncomfortable as there is no support for the lower back (might be if you're over 6ft). The back is in a fixed position to the seat so cannot be moved forwards. The seat and back can tilt together (backwards) but if you have bad back its recommended you chair seat is in a tilt forward position (makes you sit up straighter and not slouch)

I had this chair for two years and just a warning that if you're using the chair for 6+ hours a day the material doesn't last very long, especially on the arms of the chair.

Bought this chair couple years ago when it was cheaper. Many HUKDers have this chair actually.

The PVC in the seat area has ripped throughly and there's squeeky sounds whenever I move. Its time to get a new chair and this deal ain't one.

Thanks ordered

I like the way when you go to his profile page is says "Common Sense has no activity"... Sad but true...

Available in black as well heat added

I bought two of these chairs a couple of years ago in the deal that a lot of HUKDers snapped up. They've had loads of use and are only starting to show a bit of wear so very good value for money. The adjustment controls still work well, and the swivelling and rolling are still very smooth.
The only down side is that after about a year they started developing a loud CLUNK sound (maybe more of a CLONK? No, no, definitely a CLUNK) whenever you shift your weight a lot. This comes from where the main column connects to the underside of the seat... but I haven't investigated thoroughly yet to see if I can fix it.

I've had this chair in black for over 2 years

The leather has ripped, it doesn't tilt back are it's main bad points. Comfort wise it's okay, and it looks good.
