Free 30 mins bike ride/hire on the 22nd September, have a few locations dotted across the UK, get deal button will show you your nearest location.

You can hire a Beryl bike, e-bike or e-scooter through the Beryl app, available for free download on the App Store for iOS, and the Google Play Store for Android users. e-bikes and e-scooters a free but you need to pay an unlock fee.

The UK’s leading micromobility provider, Beryl, is urging people to get involved in a far-reaching initiative designed to encourage more sustainable transport habits.

As part of World Car Free Day on Thursday (September 22), Beryl is offering all users 30 free minutes using the code CARFREE22.

The initiative ties in with Beryl’s aim of removing the barriers that prevent people from travelling more sustainably.

    So what happens when the 30 mins is up. Do they charge you or does the bike stop working by remote?

    Nice idea, but its a shame our useless shortsighted government hasn't invested money in building out a vast nation wide cycle path network like other countries. If there were more safe cycle paths, more people might be persuaded to ride a bike.
    Plenty of cycle lanes in Bournemouth - I just wish the cyclists would use them

    Is there still an unlock fee for scooters? App isn't clear.
    Support have confirmed that the unlock fee applies.
