Very similar experience .... took two months to get refund of the laptop order £249 !! Promised refund of postage in email .... lost patience after calling them and emailing them enough - not worth it !

I had a beko washing machine reduced form 249 to 149 delivered free a week later and driver called to confirm when was en route and delivered by 10:00 am.

There not a bad company as far as im concerned and have always been polite in store.

Well I ordered a Yamaha Amp on a Saturday night on the web, they said next working day delivery. Received an email Sunday night saying Amp dispatched. Received on the Monday also received my £52.50 Quidco. I was lucky I guess

Remember that the UK version of Best Buy is actually a joint venture with CPW...perhaps they do the customer service half of the training! Only ordered from them once, and it got delayed due to the snow so was out of their control, will probably try them again if the price is right, but just bought a microwave from Comet for £200, BB is the only retailer I found selling it at its RRP of £300!

and don't forget 90% quidco !!!!!!

Offer prices not that great, can find same or similar as cheap or cheaper (eg Argos MSI Wind netbook £149.99)

Their in store customer service was pretty good, bought some stuff for my iphone and returned and got my refund with no issues.
I also reserved something for collection and the called me on the last day of reservation to check if I still wanted it and offered to extend the reservation if I wasn't able to make it in that day.
bought a hard drive from them, was delivered on the date as promised.

So a pretty good experience for me overall.

Ordered a TV before Xmas.
Delivery was delay and I changed my mind and ordered a diff TV while waiting.
No probs declining delivery and refunded without problem.

Thats probably why they made a loss of £55 million last year.
