Where - that aren't marketplace sellers/foreign?

Well yes, if someone's gonna come on here and claim it's less than £2 delivered at other places, then he ought to back it up and post the links - which he has failed to do. Marketplace and Ebay sellers are not allowed to be posted on this site therefore noone has posted a cheaper like-for-like comparable deal than this

got mine off ebay for 1.55 delivered for a 1.8m superb value ........every saving helps i say

Yeah Amazon Marketplace is great for picking up cheap HDMI cables, got one from there at about £1.50 delivered and it's very good quality.

got mine off ebay for £1.80 delivered, so cold from me

Not voting on this deal but I can't believe that some people pay £50+ for a HDMI lead ... my new setup is:

Panasonic TX-P46G15
Sony BDP-360 Blu Ray player
Xbox 360

All connected by HDMi leads which cost £4 each and it looks stunning!

Does it matter if they are Marketplace?

UK-based eBay sellers, registered as businesses (so no different to any other business like Amazon), sell them on eBay for less than £2 delivered.

The ONLY reason that Marketplace and eBay items aren't allowed to be posted on here is to prevent self-promotion.

And if we compared almost every single deal posted on this site with just Ebay or Amazon Marketplace, then they'd come out cheaper every time

But it's still not a hot deal when people can get a HDMI cable cheaper from elsewhere (marketplace or not)

What bizarre logic you have - almost everything posted on HUKD can be got cheaper via marketplace or Ebay. Kinda would make this site redundant if every deal were compared to Ebay

Original Poster

Heck, my local market sells a lot of things cheaper than posted on here, shall we count that too?!

Cheapest in tesco this morning was £9.97 so a good deal if you don't want to use ebay etc, thanks for posting I say!

Banned

Or go to poundland get one for £1

^^^^cheapest price ( and its gold plated )

@ 2metres is quite good, poundland are only 1.5

It's called using common sense over being dictated by a shopping forum for your buying habits. If I can pick up the same thing from Amazon Marketplace for less than half of the price than I can from a HUKD-allowed retailer, then why wouldn't I ?

I know Amazon Marketplace stuff can't be posted on here, but there's nothing wrong with the stuff :-D Same as your local market; if you can get item 'x' for £3 from there, and someone posts a deal on here for the same thing at e.g. Amazon for £6, what would you do :?

I know what I and most others would do, not vote a deal down simply because it can be bought cheaper from marketplace or ebay. Once you do that you may as well vote every single deal posted on here cold that can be bought cheaper from those places, ie almost everything

I rest my case ;-) To me, a £3.93 HDMI cable isn't a hot deal so I voted cold.

Voted hot - see this has the corded/rope type cable which the cheaper ones dont. Wont make a difference to the picture quality but suspect these will last longer than the cheaper ones with **** connectors which tend to break easier.

Saying that I ordered 3 for £3.22 off amazon marketplace the other day. Worth a risk.

Thanks OP.
Was going to buy a couple of items from The Hut anyway, now I'll add this as my original 1.8m is a bit tight for my liking.

I think Midland wants this site be rename to ' Cheapesteverukdeals.com'

mod

Ebay / Amazon marketplace comparisons are not allowed; the same goes for Individual merchants. Not really fair; if we use this analogy then everything posted on HUKD would be cold

I love £1 HDMI Leads

I also love my ford fiesta hub caps on my porsche

Why pay more money for a cable that doesn't perform any better

The point is ........
when voting something cold you should really be able to back it up by
posting a better deal.
Amazon marketplace / ebay / the guy flogging stuff on the street corner are
not allowed on here.

Just before Xmas, I bought the Alba HDMi from Argos (the cheapest cable there) for about £5. Two days ago, it broke, as the TV said 'no cable signal'.

So I've just ordered this from Hut, hopeing it will be better this time.

Anyway .... heres the best HDMI cable :-D
£200 for 1m

So this one is better than the ones which cost less at places you can't post about?

Doesn't make any sense to me.

Must be something to do with referral commission.
