Thank you for taking the time to post. I've amended your listed price as this should be the price you have to actual pay the retailer to purchase the item before any retrospective discounts are applied, thanks again.

I could be wrong but I don't believe this is included in the Sony VAT cashback deal?

just checked the vat form and it is definitely included in the the cashback deal

Thanks ordered last night after seeing the post. Was planning on getting a 503, but at £385.49 after discount even if we've got to wait a month or so for the £163.50 cashback it's a great deal. Best price I could find after discounts for the newer 503 was around the same as this 403 before any discounts. With the only major differences being a swivel stand versus fixed and 100hz motion flow on the EX503 which don't bother me that much to pay the extra.

Also it might be possible to get the Sony 5 year warranty with the TV going to send an email to Best Buy and see if they will do it.

Let me know how you get on with the warranty!

:has anyone else had problems with this ??

I have been trying to order this TV since friday, through quidco.

Every time it fails at the final processing stage. I have tried & so have 3 other members of my family, all with different contact & card details.

Any ideas ???

Price has gone upto £648.99 making us a saving £263.50 of the current price. It's still available at Amazon for £539.99, Tesco for £579 and John Lewis for £584 but you can only get Sony VAT back on them and any store specific discounts. Got mine scheduled for next Monday delivery and can't wait for it to arrive, was checking out a display model earlier today and was quite pleased with it. Hopefully it won't get lost like a number of my parcels at the moment. I suspect the post man is forgetting to unload his van, if he's even bothered to attempt to deliver. That being said stuff I ordered on Monday arrived today but last weeks parcels seemed to have got lost in transit.

Just got the following reply from Best Buy about not being part of the warranty promotion, oh well still a good deal.

I can confirm for you that unfortunately you will not be able to take … I can confirm for you that unfortunately you will not be able to take advantage of the Sony 5 year guarantee as Best Buy are not a participating dealer. You will however be able to claim the VAT back as Best Buy are participating in that Sony deal.

I've tried a dozen times to buy a camera without success. It's a problem with the Best Buy site which they can't sort out. I've emailed them 3 times, but they just kept blaming Quidco. However they have now acknowledged that it is their fault. There's quite a long thread about it on the Quidco community. I've had a good rant there!
