Betron HD1000 are down to £12.99, a steal in my opinion. Very good purchase if you compare price and quality (if colour is not your cup of tea the HD 500 are only £11.99).

The standard prime price is 12.99!

There's the standard Betron HD1000 for £12.99 - I don't know what the ones for Samsung/iPhone add.

Great pair of headphones though IMHO

That's not the standard prime price, that's the 'lightning deal' price for the standard pair that doesn't mention Samsung or iOS.

Voted mega-hot for spelling "lightning" correctly.

I think they mean the lightening deal price for the standard model of headphone is only £12.99 where as the ones specially for Samsung / IOS are £14.99. Personally think the deal should be updated to £12.99 for the standard pair as not everyone needs or wants features for a specific type of phone, for many the regular £12.99 pair with standard 3.5mm jack will be more than sufficient.

I've had a pair of these in the past. Really liked the way they sounded too. Only slight issue for me was that they were a bit on the tight side as my head is a bit larger than the average. That said they weren't too bad for comfort, dare say if I had persisted they would have slackened a bit over time. Half tempted to try again at this price as they sounded nice and the packaging (even includes padded case) and accessories had a real premium feel you would not expect at this price....

I doubt it.

Is the HD1000 fine for ordinary aux out (e.g. on laptop or android)?

Yes, absolutely. That is my point about the deal, the price should be listed as £12.99 in the deal since the £14.99 is only for the variants made specifically for ios and samsung phones, which most don't need....

Yeah. It's a bit confusing why they have so many versions of the same model. About a year ago I bought the the standard HD1000 version (which is £12.99) and they are fantastic.

They work perfectly on both Samsung and iOS devices. As well as home computers.

Going to buy a back up pair now.

HOT DEAL

Good headphones. How cheap do you want them for a decent pair of headphones.

Meh. Discount not worth my while.

Ah Betron.. The Charles Wilson of headphones

If I didn’t have so many pairs I would definitely get a pair of these. So impressed with Betron products.

Bagged one. Hopefully it won't end up in my "unused Amazon cheap gadget deals" drawer.

Arnt the standard ones the exact same as these ones? What 'features' have these got that the standard ones haven't? The standard work perfectly fine with any Samsung or iPhone.

Probably because there's many people judging them just on the fact it's not a brand name like Sony or Phillips, and voting despite having no knowledge. There's plenty of positive comments here from those who have actually used them though...
