good idea bit of lube

From the reviews on there I wouldn't use these. They're recommended as single use, so not the benefit of the mooncup and the others.

Read the reviews on Amazon, not re-usable so hardly cheaper or better than the mooncup or similar products.

wouldn't use these, reportedly linked with Toxic Shock Syndrome

should i have put in title great stocking filler or tights

The average woman will use 16,800 pads or tampons in her lifetime. Just take a moment to imagine a pile of pads / tampons that big. Huge isn't it?

oO

They are not linked to Toxic Shock. I use them and so does my daughter. To be honest I wouldn't use the mooncup - couldn't think of anything worse than having to wash it out! Yukkkkyyyy
Instead Cups all the way for me

that was the first one the second says possible to reuse my darling

I've always used pads/towels and am unfamiliar with menstrual cups.

I think I've now grasped the concept of the cup but was wondering how do you stop the saucer from falling out?

Go on then ... put your money where your mouth is and provide a link to a study confirming your assertion.

Toxic Shock Syndrome - Menstrual cups have been around since the 1930's but there have been no incidences of toxic shock syndrome associated with them during that time.

With your fabulous pelvic floor muscles. Just like tampons don't fall out with gravity.

It must be right as it is on the internet after all..

The disposable cups are linked directly to Toxic Shock if you wear them longer than the 12 hours maximum time.

2 out of 3 reviews state in the title "not reusable", the text of the 2nd one says "not recommended by manufacturer", but "you can sort of drain them in a pinch".

So not reusable. Far better off paying the extra to buy something better designed. It's not like there's a dearth of options, like the reusable femmecup listed on this site for less than £6 more.

That's like any sanitary product - wear a tampon for too long and you stand a chance of getting Toxic Shock - and lets be honest wear a towel for too long and your gonna stink!! A bit of common sense with them and following instructions. They do say not to be worn for more than 12 hours. I can't use tampons anymore after have a scare but my doctor is quite happy for me to use instead cups so they can't be that bad.

if u are then you are a very irresponseable one for banding about your opinion so openly, potentialy causing panic. Must say though i rather think you are not......

and i think you may have meant another word as opposed to "defiantly" LOL
