Finally!

Probably wouldn't go that far ha ha but yeah the candy king pick n mix is nice. May I recommend the jelly beans with a side serving of wine gums and strawberries?
Love these half price thanks OP
Are they all gelatin?
Fudge!!!

Are they all gelatin?

Most yes, Asda has done better, most don't have gelatine. Wilko bomboms have gelatine and most other. Like someone else said fill it up with Easter eggs
Here's a hint - the bags work out cheaper than filling up a cup. Fill up a cup then empty it into a bag and weight it and enjoy the savings.

If you layer the sweets with some strategic planning and a little brute force you can get a lot into the cups.

Don't forget to put something small/solid in there like smarties every so often to fill in gaps!
been waiting Aaaages for this! live life on the edge I do!!

Fudge!!!

Don't put many of them in, take up too much space and weigh a lot. I usually do 1 fudge, 3 snakes and a few others like white choc and jelly beans

I haven't experimented in depth but I might have to try the "dense sweets" hypothesis of cup cramming and hope security don't throw me out!
Oh dear. At least I can spend some Love2Shop vouchers.

Anyone managed 1kg in a large cup? (No elastic bands and/or cellotape allowed).
nah my seasons best is mid 800g's,its quite difficult to hang around that aisle fisting a cup of sweets to within an inch of its life without the staff looking disgusted with you!
Great deal,im off later to fill me cup and my mouthhttps://media.giphy.com/media/PRHGp7FdimBfW/giphy.gif!

Ugh, thanks for that image. Looks like I will only be choosing from the top shelf. Nothing new!
Great deal,

Oh dear, those fizzy cola dummies they sell are going to get a good purchasing. As well as everything else!
Yay loved this last year :-)
You know its a slow day when this gets into the top 5 deals of the day... lol
i remember woolworths pick and mix and they had cadburys roses..... caramel kegs all the way!
E coli and diabetes....great! I have not bought pik n mix since seeing a snotty nosed kid wipe his nose with his hand and then pick out sweets with the same hand.............ugh

Or weigh the full cup and subtract weight of empty cup then only empty cup if it works out cheaper otherwise if it didn't you'd have to pack it all back into the cup.
I filled 4 bags the other day and they came to just under £4 so I poured them into a cup and added more weighed it again and it came to £6.30, so the cups can work out better, just don't add marshmallows, that's a waste.
If you want to save even more bring a mallet like I do and smash the sweets on the checkout counter. Don't go to the Birmingham wilko though the staff are extremely rude and impolite, apparently trying to be savvy with my money means I have to leave the store. For some reason using a mallet is unacceptable behaviour, I just think the fat lady at the checkout was jealous i got 4000 marshmallows in one cup.

It's not just the kids at fault either.
Plenty of adults don't wash their hands after using the toilet, to then go about their daily business.
Those sweets could be carrying all kinds of additional ingredients.
