Cracking yorkshires, although if I had any ambition left in me I would attempt to make them myself. ;-)

a lazy way to make pancakes but I guess at -5p it's excusable to be lazy for once

these are uber easy to make with actual ingredients
I did try them and found them to be ok.. lot of packaging waste tho

Better to make your own as you don't get many out of that bottle.

Could just eat some now, sugar and lemon on mine.

posted 3 days ago on MSE and reports are store specific, not nationwide, so you may or may not get them....oh and a "heads-up" that the OP forgot ot mention....the 30p off easy peel label on the back actually has the instructions on the reverse, so if you're a total numpty....

"just fill with water up to the "fill line" then shake - no other ingrediants needed. Enjoy!"

remember though the same quantity of flour and water etc is lots cheaper.....LOTS!

Explain how it is better to make your own? these are not costing anything to make 6 pancakes.

This was £1 in Asda on friday when i went in there.

I highly doubt you can get the same quantity of flour and water for -5p  hot deal if you can get it

Bargain !!

These are great for camping/caravanning - no large messy bags of flour to cart about or eggs to keep safe etc.. and no extra washing up!

I'm terminally lazy and so bought some of this stuff for Pancake Day this year.

IMHO .... it's crap!

No substitute for mixing up a batter yourself, and it's not difficult!

You make pancakes with water? Well I never knew that.

-5p is a lot cheaper than +5p in my book. But clearly your maths is as good as your cooking.

20p at asda wakefield

do tesco actually give you 5p change for this?

Yep. and a voucher for 2 for the cinema and a meal at Pizza Express. Also free jam for the pancakes which Pizza Express will make up for you at no extra charge..

The American style ones are the best.

Voted cold , the pancakes this batter makes are not very nice at all no wonder they are basically giving it away they probably have a warehouse full of the crap , as has been said make your own flour, egg and milk tastes so much better.

Well for a start there are the ingredients:
Wheat Flour, Sugar, Raisng Agents: Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Monocalcium Phosphate; Vegetable Oil Dextrose , Egg White Powder From Caged Hens, Egg Yolk Powder From Caged Hens, Salt, Skimmed Milk Powder.
When I make pancakes I use flour, fresh free range egg, fresh milk.

Taste:
I wonder, does a blend of Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Monocalcium Phosphate; Vegetable Oil Dextrose really taste better?
Packaging:
need I say more?

Proper pancakes take less than two minutes to mix, I can't see any reason to buy this rubbish!

In case you haven't noticed, these are MINUS 5p. Technically, you're not buying them, they're free, with a free 5 pence. No, they're not worth buying, but they're worth having for nothing!

Well given the crap that's in them, I wouldn't ever use them. So they would just take up space in my kitchen. Also they contribute towards the cruelty of battery farming.
Therefore I wouldn't want any, not even with the lure of a whole free 5p!

Thanks, will keep an eye out for these.

Midge

i got this as easter followed the instructions and it was rubbish! went out the next day (day after pancake day) and they had the aunt bessies ready made stuff (comes in a blue carton like fresh soups do) and they were really really good pancakes.
