Not the most exciting thing ever seen at HUKD, but if you cook, you'll want these.

Prepping any veg which needs to be peeled is probably my least favourite task, but it has to be done. Tried all sorts of peelers from £12 metal Swiss ones (which, in spite of a daily oiling, rusted away) to a £2.99 Aldi ceramic special (which was awful and was binned). I was in B&M looking for muffin and cupcake cases when I spotted these. Betty Winters? A B&M own brand, but they are very good and less than 70p each. The 'plain' one (white handle) flew through potatoes and carrots like no other peeler I have ever used. Massively impressed.

I have not used the Julienne or Serrated peeler yet - so can't comment on either. They feel incredibly nice in the hand - important when you are peeling spuds as fast as you can and don't want to peel your fingertips too. One other nice touch - the three can be pushed together when not in use. Should take up less space and make finding them in a kitchen drawer that much easier.

Betty Winters Easy Grip Peelers.

Set includes traditional, serrated and julienne peelers.

I'm afraid the joke is lost on me also. Do you two want to share the pun?

I'm glad I'm not the only one lol

.... Sorry not finding this post very... appealing!! . One peeler is enough for me

Great, one for each hand

I cook every day and I when I need to use a peeler, 95% of the time it's for veg. Is the point being made that they can be used for fruit too? I do occasionally use them on cooking apples, pears and other fruits. Is anyone hugely bothered, or should I amend the description?

Must agree, I have these and it peels veg very well and quickly, for the price can't fault it.

There's one at gearbest with all three heads for less than a pound which I've been very impressed by.

The Julienne peeler also works very well. Made a stir fry.
