Smoking hot, these are the best headphones I've ever used. Bought them in 2010, been using them daily for 9 years, taking them to and from work, ran over the cable 92385290385 times and dropped them etc still working perfectly, using them right now.

One of the only 'buy it for life' items I own.
Best headphones ever.
The price @Amazon US is better
Another super happy owner of DT770 Pros here. As in truly professional level clarity, detail, and overall performance IF the source provided to them is good in the first place. Heat. But do you really want to buy used headphones? Seems somewhat unhygienic
Non-removable cable just made me super sad. Damn it!
Bought some 'like new' in ear headphones a couple of days ago and they still had the plastic wrapping on them. Heat!
Also a very happy DT770 pro 80ohm user here. Had mine for 4 years, used regularly, including throwing them in my bag a lot. The cable is pretty robust (although it is long - I use velcro ties to keep it coiled for mobile use)

Great headphones, but wouldn't recommend anyone buys these and drives them straight out of phone - for that look for a 32ohm version. The 80ohm need a little bit more juice to sound their best. I use an xduoo xd-05 and the pairing is awesome. A fiio or topping would prob do just as good a job with them.

awesome headphones.
£94.82 for cheapest now.
These are the best headphones I've ever had also. I've got the Sony WH-1000 XM3 and these sound way better. Bargain at 75 quid
Cheers OP, bagged a pair to replace my old Sony v6s. I can now appreciate my bargain 4 month Tidal subscription too.

Ok thanks will have another look.
Fantastic headphones. When I first got them, I found the highs very shrill and piercing, but I got used to the V shaped sound after a couple weeks. Now I love them.
I also own a pair of these. I doubt you will find better in this price range. There is a reason these are used in studios across the world and they actually deserve the 'pro' tag, unlike many other examples who use the word to try and look good. If you have never listened to decent headphones before, these will be a revelation. You will probably want to re-listen to your whole music collection. Use a decent amplifier though - these are not suitable for most phones or mp3 players, though you can get the same model in 32 ohm, which would be better for that purpose.
Fantastic cans, I got some 'very good' from the warehouse a few weeks ago for £8, in perfect condition!

I don't think I will every be as lucky with saving anything else in the future
Can someone who already owns these please tell me what the inner dimensions of the ear pads are?

I have large ears and have yet to find any decent over-ear headphones that fit me!

I bought some Vmoda headphones along with their XL ear pads and even they are slightly too small.

Thanks, but damn and blast I’ve got no chance then. My ears are 7.5 top to bottom! Out of interest, what depth are the ear pads?

Earpad inside measurements: -
Top to bottom - 6.0 - 6.5 cm.
Front to back - 5.5 - 6.0 cm
Ear pad depth - 1.6 cm
Nice and comfortable, I usually find the headband is too small, these are just right.
Bear in mind, you will likely need a headphone amp to drive these with mobile phones and portable music players. As @Smithington mentioned, you're better off getting the 32 ohm version (which is rarely available this cheap) if you intend to use them directly with portable devices without an amp.
32 ohm version "used like new" £71.68
I Buy this from Amazon US @ less then 100$ (new)
Got mine today, do look brand new, not a mark on them but the box is battered. sound great and very comfortable
Just got delivered both 32 and 80 ohm. Using on my mobile phone I can say the 80 ohm sounds better and I can't tell any difference in the sound power between the two of them. Also, the 80 ohm comes with a velour ear pad, feels more confy when wearing, the 32 ohm doesn't. So returning the 32 ohm.
Can anyone recommend a amp I can use on my mobile phone to give the headphones a bit more juice? Appreciate it.
