For the same price you can get the 3870 Radeons which are more powerful.

Well looking at the benchmarks they're pretty much par on par. The 3870 should cope with newer games better in theory though.

The GT is also more powerful is it not?

No stock

VERY good price, i paid approx 200 for an identical spec (diff brand) a few months ago

good price for a fast card.

Its the GTS model. Basically the subsidised 8800. GTX is the bad boy!

Still a hot deal though

Tasty card and great manufacturer

Very decent card for the price. But your right in that this is the first type of the 8800GTS card, and so gets trounced by the 8800GT. Also bulkier and more power hungry.

This card is reduced because its been superseded by the 8800GTS 512Mb (with a G92 chip similar to the GT)

Good price but do note that it is the old, outdated and underpowered gts model. These are getting sold off to make way for more stock of the new 512mb GTS models(well new but been out for a bit) and they are the same price, £200. get this if u want to get a good card but dont want the extreme.

Voted hot as its still a great price for any 8800
