no link to buy it - so its either sold out, or a misprice

Deal appears to have gone. Looks like a quickly corrected pricing error.

Does anyone know whether this will work for a dell dimension e521 with vista?

Dammit, I did think it was too good to be true and I put an order in for a mate of mine who's been talking about upgrading.

Better just wait for my "sorry, but your order has been cancelled due to..." e-mail...harumph!

BTW brian.tomlinson, your PC would have to have a PCI-Express slot to take this card, just checked the spec of it and it has a PCI-E slot. Seeing as this deal ain't going to happen then just keep your eye out for that type of card. Good luck!

Use this link

It adds it to the basket at £64.99 but it is out of stock.

i have added it as well but it says ''awaiting stock''

the e-mail that Play have sent me clearly states that they have not yet confirmed i will get the item and no contract yet exists.

we can always hope!

Price gone back up to £159.99

My 39.99 order has just been cancelled. Great, first Debenhams and now this - when will online retailers get live stock information?

Yup, mine too, basically it was probably a misprice so they automatically set it to 'out of stock' and then cancel it, although usually with misprices they wait ages to cancel.

Fair enough I suppose, but what annoys me is that they can't even send an e-mail saying 'oops' or even to say that it has been cancelled. I only found out this morning as I checked on other orders I made the same day.

Seems that people have the same problem with the 7900 card:

Although someone there said him and a mate ordered the 8600GTS his is awaiting stock and his mate's has been shipped...looks like there was one!
