Hi All, I am subscribed to a cinema service in the UK and I have received a email offering 3 additional more weeks to a BFI Player Trail, due to the coronavirus shutdown, you need to input the code SHUTDOWN this will then give you a 6 Week Trial in Total.

YOU MUST USE THE LINK PROVIDED. I have tried inputting the link directly on the BFI Website and from Amazon to no avail.

I can confirm the code works perfectly and I am all set-up and some of you may be able to help me in return.

I see there is no BFI App and I see I cannot login on Amazon BFI Service, do you know if there is an App for BFI Player and does anyone know how I could get this onto my Amazon Fire 4K Stick? or can you simply use Amazon Silk or Firefox from the Amazon Fire 4K Stick and watch directly from the browser as this seems to be the case from the PC.

Anyone know? Thanks.

Enjoy your 6 week trial I am certainly looking forward to using it.

Very confusing deal here and with no app it’s even more baffling
great deal much appreciated!! have a free BFI subscription until June! Yes the free subscription only gives you access to the 'subscription' content on their site but there is some great stuff! top shout thanks!
need to input payment details along with voucher code btw
My name, apparently, contains invalid characters
Hi Lettherebedeals,

This may be of no help, but I know Samsung used to have a BFI streaming app on their smart TVs. Not sure if that's still the case or indeed if you have a Samsung TV.

Thanks for posting this extended trial offer.
Thanks for the info op, I watch a 'Digital Theatre' subscription via the Firefox brower app on my Amazon Firestick. You can save the link on the app but it's a pain having to sign in when your membership info is forgotten. There is also a 'full screen' option which works. Hope this helps.
Great stuff, thanks OP
Brilliant. Thanks.
Keeps asking me for BFI Membership number.
I wish I had the free time to warrant this, a great find and some decent films.
I followed the link, got as far as subscribing with no success.

Checked my email for a welcome email, followed the link from that. Went to "Account", "Subscription" and could enter the code "SHUTDOWN" but also had to enter card details, wouldn't work without. 6 weeks free subscription!

Q) If you cancel now do you retain the 6 week subscription?

Worked for me. Thanks OP
"You're currently within your free trial. Your first subscription payment of £4.99 will be taken on 01/06/2020"
As people have said, click though and it's at pay stage you put in password and set a reminder to cancel.

Only place with an app sends to be apple apple devices or Samsung tv.

"You can watch up to 4 devices"

player.bfi.org.uk/help

To be honest if you don't have chromecast you'll struggle..

On an ideal world you could log on your details on to prime and use their app but I can't see the option.

There is a 1 month free trial on prime for bfi if you want that option!!!
Just got two weeks free before charging
Worked for me on Android, didn't work on iPad.

You can cancel without losing the trial. I did, and the website sez: "Your subscription has been cancelled. You will be able to watch subscription films until 01/06/2020."
Any suggestions for some good free films to get my teeth into?
