Even that excuse would be highly presumptuous.

Amberlula

Yeah I think it’s mainly aimed for students and people who have come out of university recently who are maybe earning less.

Amberlula

I think it applies to every BFI cinema in the uk yeah!

Ana10

Is it every cinemas in UK?

skeeter909

Yes i would have to wonder about this myself. Its a bit of an arbitrary age. I guess it lines up with the wine bar liscencing?

Most of these are available cheaper to begin with, accepted 2 for £25 is good but singly they are about £15 tops.

Even more reason not to buy a ticket. Sick to death of companies thinking everyone lives in London!

Pleased for you... 8)

Nah,Southbanks only 12.9 miles from Sutton. :D

Waks_Trode

Absolutely brilliant deal. Thanks for posting. The line-up highlights the diverse schedule offered by the BFI Southbank, with some popular films (101 Dalmatians, The Godfather, Bend It Like Beckham), some classic critically-acclaimed films (Day For Night, Autumn Leaves, Persona) and some new films and previews. I won't be able to make it down there but if I as in London I'd be there without a doubt.

juggler1

For those who don’t know- London is actually open to people who are not from there.

Absolutely, which is why I like It! Not heard of Shudder before but will check it out

M0nk3h

Looks relatively niche from my point of view. Much like Shudder which is purely horror for the same price I think. The only downside to these sorts of services is they're not well established and don't have a great deal of apps limiting you to just your web browser or android/iOS tablet/phone or both. It's the reason I've yet to actually pay for Shudder. Either way if you like this thing then looks good. Big fan of Pink Floyd too so the movies you mention seem worth it.

Possibly the most terrifying soap powder advert ever made. http://player.bfi.org.uk/film/watch-little-miss-muddlehead-rinso-advert-1943/

Many thanks OP, what an excellent site! Duly heated.

Britain on Film is brilliant. You can even watch a rugby match from 1901 (it's no longer available on iPlayer).

Cumberbatch

Wish BFI had a better app on my smart tv so I could watch the videos. There is hardly anything on it, its crap :(

fleurdecosse

Thank you for this, will look forward too watching the films :)
